I “rushed“ because you said in the “penthouse-IC-post“ everyone, so I thought you hit the butten with the two triangles showing right and the small vertical line (next chapter). And therefore I just gave a small summary, not very detailed.

The letter should be sent to Oskar van der Aaken, living in Viridi Plana.

Oskar van der Aaken is the so called Oldest Brother, some kind of contact for correspondence. He's between the junger brothers and sisters (like Joshua is) and the familia. The leader of the order

Ok, so Crystal isn't sure why Benedict is being difficult with her, she thinks she's been reasonable and to this point polite, and met with unreasonable dismissal of valid concerns. Security is an important point to her.

But she's clearly not going to win this particular exchange on her own and there's a limit to how much scene I'm willing as a player to obstruct in a pointless impasse.

So over to the other five. Crystal will abide by group verdict.

Meanwhile, from Benedict's point of view, he gets told to go upstairs and walks in on 6 people, one of whom immediately asks if he's got his invitation letter.

He does, and so he says so. In his mind, he's answered the question.

Then she starts trying to play riddles with the letter that he has no reason to have memorized. So he can either point out what little he remembers (that there's 6 others mentioned in the letter) or pull it out in front of people he's not sure are the people -they- claim to be.

His answer not being sufficient for someone wearing -probationary- detective sergeant rank is kinda the icing on the "damn commoners" cake.

Going to post now, would have done so earlier as it was my day off but have been sleeping most of the day (its now 2am) to try and get rid of the headcold I have. Happy to see you were able to resolve the situation without interference from me as I like to give as much RP freedom as possible so long as it doesn't become disruptive and dangerous for the game.

Oh okay that makes sense, if you do something like that though and want me to actually know what it means just put it in a spoiler or I'm going to play the guessing game which could become fun or bad depending on the situation you are in at that given moment.

If it will help any we could use Google Translator (I know its not the best but its all we have) and use real world languages for our make believe ones. I have done so in the past, and learned copy and paste everything in a spoiler in English, this way anyone who can speak or read said language in the game world can click the spoiler and see what was said. I will leave that up to a player vote though as I know some people get upset if you say use German for Infernal, Russian for Abyssal, and Scottish/Irish/Galeic for Dwarven

Map of the eight miles around Angelius Ianuam in all directions. Those small little house looking things are small settlements. Broodfist Keep is a dwarf keep friendly to the Swordwatch Empire. Black Lines are roads, though some are in better states of repair then others. The blue boarder around the map is just that a boarder. Yellow/brown line is a trail, thus their is no direct road leading to Tuta Lignum. And I will be taking suggestions for the name of the lake at the bottom of the map.

Edit I will have a post up by tomorrow night, I want to give Jshield and Janwin a chance to post before doing so. Thank you for your patience.

Do we have a map of the actual town? (really a general description is probably fine.) The above map is helpful to the surrounding area, but I think the specific sections of the city might quickly become necessary as we search for this woman.

Now a kind DM always gives there players what they ask for. Had you asked for the Sword of Kas for example I would have given it to you. But you wanted the Enchanter instead so I gave him to you. If you choose to accept my gift though is up to you XD

So Crystal's thought process is this:

We now know there is an individual called Ryl who consorts with filth demons. He knows about this super secret gathering to discover him. He disapproves of a local sect using his name, and has given us their location.

That's about five times more than we knew a moment ago and she doesn't want to discourage the filth demon from coming back with more tips in future. I suspect letting the thing go is some sort of illegal, but it's a small fry and we're after a big fish.

Of course she didn't verbalise this and only made a *stay calm* gesture, so if any of you decide not to stay calm and instead destroy the little filth devil she (and I) won't be too offended.

PURGE THE HERETIC! PURGE THE (literally) UNCLEAN!

But first, a good old Detect Evil to make sure it needs purging. There's nothing quite as unsatisfying as an unnecessary purging.
