10ft, and I'll call the ramp straight enough for a running start to count. However it is uphill, which probably makes it a bit harder.

I just realized I hadn't added the ACP from the shield to my sheet. It's -1 so the jump result is 15, but I think/hope this changes nothing

Is taking 10 an option? I feel like "falling and going splat" counts as a threat, but I've seen GMs rule both ways.

IC will be up shortly. If taking 10 is okay, we do. If no, here's a roll: (d20+11)[24]

How much shapesand is in a 12 pound jug? Would it be enough to shape a thin plank across the gap that was strong enough to support Xenia's weight?

EDIT: and if not, if I used entangle on the wall, would the grasping vines and plants be anchored to the wall firmly enough to support Xenia's weight? Obviously she'd need to go slowly, since she'd be entangled, but that still seems like a better solution for her than attempting a 10' leap.

Sand weighs roughly 100lb/cuft, so you've got about 0.06cuft there. I'd say you need about a half inch thickness to support your weight. That's 1.44 square ft of half inch sand. You can extrude that to over 10ft long, but you'd have less than 2" wide to balance on. It would require a balance check.

Entangle might work, but it's "hold fast, plus entangle". You'd need to succeed in a reflex save, or a DC20 strength or escape artist check to even move.

Then you'd have to climb, which although you have adequate hand and footholds would not be easy with vines trying to grab you. Then you move at 1/4 speed reduced to 1/8 by spell (5ft either way). And if you haven't made 2 successful climb checks in 30 rounds (or fail a check by 5 or more) you get dropped.

Sounds difficult. Are you sure you want to do that?

Is there something over us where we can throw a rope over to build a swing? You know, a tree or a ledge or so, and navi takes one end of the rope, flies up, on the other side down and we tie my flail or whatever at both ends to sit on? So Xenia can swing over the gap and get caught on the other side

Actually, a rope with a wall to brace against is a pretty easy climb check (especially if she shapes a climber's kit for a circumstance bonus), so if one of you who managed to successfully make the jump has a rope handy and can extend it down, Xenia can climb up that way.

This looks like about a DC 5 climb -- unknotted "rope" with a wall. Yes? Can we all just take 10 to move up? That'd get us thirty feet up in 4 rounds.

If there's a reason we should roll, here's my first: (d20+1)[11]

Huh, the Climb entry on my sheet doesn't recognize my Strength mod. I'll try to fix that.

Nudge for Fliggl. I'll move this on tomorrow whether it not. The conflict or this decision was pretty much "are you going to try and take Koli with you?" And that's been answered, so.

Vikka is on the safety platform in between areas according to the map, you would need to climb to where Zippo is in order to get to the door.

The map I posted in the last update is all on the same level and the platform's form a sort of ring. Crude wooden bridges span the gaps so there's no difficulty navigating between them. There nothing stopping you just walking up to the door.

The only reason there's a slight gap between characters is the tokens would have completely obscured the north eastern bridge and I thought showing it would be less confusing.

I feel like we may be talking past one another or just missing things in each otherís posts. Weaverís plan was to check the door which looks like itís on the same level. MMís post makes it seem like Vikka thought the door was a level up. Weaver is going to listen at the door and then open it ... if Zippo wants to push past, thatís fine.

No just on a different platform on the same level, we all need to move over before head out.

Sorry for the delay! I've been left to my own devices for the last five days, which means I've had a few more domestic tasks to take care of than usual. Plus I've just gotten into The Last of Us in a big way! Really really incredible game.

Also, as I've been posting in all my games: I'm ill and might not post for a couple days.

The best bit is the very engaging story! The prologue hits all the right emotional notes to draw you in. The game engine is also very polished with multiple ways to get past most encounters.

I'm doing a replay on hardest difficulty now. Straight up fights are suicidal, there's almost nothing in the way of supplies, and there's no HUD so you have to self-assess your injuries and mentally count bullets. Epic challenge!
