How do you use the Expectation Value for Energy <E> to find <Px>?
I'm pretty sure this is a trick question, but I've been asked to find the expectation value for the linear momentum of an electron in a wavepacket, and to express that answer in terms of ħ.
I have <E>= [0.5(h2/2mL2)-0.25(8h2/mL2)+0.25(121h2/8mL2)]Last edited by MonkeySage; 2019-09-27 at 06:44 PM.
