I think the sheet is done now, except for possible additions to the backstory.

Added complications, and moved some points around to reflect the fact Ambrose has a job and a home.

Made a few minor tweaks to alternate form, and sacrificed two minions to make the remaining two stronger and able to take full actions. Also shifted a few points around to pick up regeneration and first-level immortality, because this guy is absolutely too stubborn to die. He comes back in two weeks now, which I imagine he spends having a boxing match with death.

As Zero Prime mentioned we do have a Speedster submitted, so just bear that in mind. I'm not planning on taking everyone, so any redundancies will lower your chances of getting in.

Yep, like I said I think we can be a little more generous with the thresholds so that it's more of a benefit to Agency, haha.

Awesome, thanks for making those changes. I'll review those this evening.

I'm going to give this thread a couple more days so any stragglers can get their sheet submitted. Hoping to see some cool ideas! I'll pick the roster Tuesday evening and get this party started as quick as I can afterwards.

    Spoiler: Appearance
    Show
Height: 6'6; Weight: 260; Skin: Caucasian; Hair: Short, brown; Eyes: Dark brown

Tim is a big guy, tall and strong. Without any powers, he was a tough guy who could throw and take a punch. His arms are covered in colorful sleeve tattoos that start at his wrists and go up to completely cover his shoulders. When he wears a sleeveless shirt, they are on full display. He has a winning smile that comes easily.

    Spoiler: Backstory
    Show
Tim McAllister was born in a poor rural area a couple of hours drive from Atlanta. His mother and father were racists, drunks, and trailer trash. Negligent at best and abusive at worst. Tim too grew up as trailer trash. He never had good clothes. When his dad was too drunk, Tim got knocked around. The only escape he had from it all was football and hip hop. Naturally, his parents hated that too. Occasionally they would break the cd’s that he’d scraped together, yelling some awful bigotry in the process. All Tim had going for him was the fact that he was a big, strong kid and his good-natured personality.

When he was just 15 years old, everything changed. He was walking down the highway with kids. A few of the kids decided to risk running across the highway. Stupid kid stuff. One girl fell in the middle and looked like she was going to be hit by an oncoming truck. Tim ran out after her and flung her out of the way, but couldn't move out of the path of the truck in time. The truck smashed into him. He was completely uninjured.

By the time he got home, talk had spread. "Just what the hell are you boy?" A half-filled bottle of swill hit Tim in the face and smashed. No cuts. No physical pain. That was the last time. Tim calmly walked to his room and started filling a bag. When his father tried to stop him, Tim shoved him. His old man flew back and took down one of the trailer's interior walls. With a backpack and his mother screaming at him, Tim left that town and never looked back. His parents never reported his absence to the police… so no one ever came looking.

He hitch-hiked up the Eastern Seaboard.

He landed in [insert name of City we're playing in, probably Baltimore], where he took on work in a warehouse. Tim was a big kid, strong, and the manager didn’t ask for an ID… he just paid a crappy wage under the table. Tim rented a room from a widowed mother with her baby son. At first she didn’t want to because of his age, but she gave in when she saw he had nowhere else to go. Her kindness became one of the foundations of Tim’s life. He never re-enrolled in school, much to her chagrin, but she taught him lessons in the evenings. He helped her with the baby and around the house. They became a family of their own making.

Tim grew into the community. Despite the harshness of his life, he was warm and kind. He had a smile for most people and would go out on a limb to help those around him. And with super-powers, well, he was really d*mn helpful. As he grew into adulthood, he found work as a bouncer, but also found a passion for pro-wrestling. Plus, he could do crazy stunts and be ok for the next night. Perfect gig. He started where most wrestlers start, working shows at a small indy fed in VA halls. He became a community hero in a community that needed one. No one really trusted the police all that much, so when you had a problem, you call the superhero to fix it.

The Initiative had an eye on him for some time, but never quite felt the time was right. That changed when a government lab attempting to recreate the Hulk went wrong. They created a near mindless beast that seemingly couldn't be stopped… and it got loose. Police, SWAT, the local armed forces bases all answered the call but were borderline useless. The monster advanced towards the city, getting closer and closer to populated areas. Right around the time it got near the football stadium, Aegis showed up to face it. The creature was powerful, fast and nearly impervious to damage. Aegis was pushed to his limit, but overcame because of sheer grit and determination. It was captured on video by television choppers swarming overhead. It was only a matter of time before someone from the Initiative would come calling.

    Spoiler: Complications
    Show
With Great Power… (Motivation – Responsibility/Doing Good): Tim realizes that he’s an incredibly strong, gifted individual. It just wouldn’t be right not to use that power to help those around him. What’s more, he likes doing it. Underneath the rough exterior, his heart is in the right place.

Mysterious Power Source: Tim has no idea where his powers came from, other than they just showed up one day. He kind of hasn't thought too much about it. The truth is that in the last Century, the Kree are known for tampering with experimenting on lesser species. They operated out of a small rural hospital where few would notice anything strange. Genetics of the local children were tampered with the goal of easily creating greater powers in Kree soldiers. The program ended with what seemed like no success after [the events of Captain Marvel], but the genetic tampering in children from the last generation came together as Tim's parents hooked up behind the bleachers of a Nascar Race. The result, not predicted by anyone, was awakening a complete boost of all physical abilities. Tim McAllister hit the lottery and he doesn't even know it.

Hell of a Worker (Responsibility – Indie Pro Wrestler): Tim was a pro-wrestler even before he gained super-powers. Now that he’s nigh indestructible and has super-strength… well, now he’s really good at it. Gotta pay the bills.

Fame - He defeated a monster and saved Baltimore on live television. Everyone knows who The Invincible Aegis is.

    Friends and Family (Relationship):
    • Amelia Harrison: Amelia is an African American woman in her mid-thirties now. She was happily married to a firefighter named Peter. They lived in [I'll look up neighborhoods later], with Amelia working as a teacher in the local public school. She has a good heart and a hunger to help troubled kids. She’s been Tim’s family for years now, filling the role of an older sister to someone that would have had nobody.
    • P.J Harrison: PJ, or Peter Joseph Harrison Jr., is Amelia’s biracial son from her deceased husband. Tim was already around when PJ was just a baby. PJ looks up to Tim as a big brother. He idolizes him, and has subsequently gotten very much into pro wrestling. PJ thought of Tim as a superhero before Tim ever got powers. PJ helped Tim come up with his wrestling persona: Aegis. PJ drew a golden shield that now adorns Tim’s wrestling attire.
    • Vince Heyman: The owner and promoter of UCW, Vince Heyman has a knack for showmanship and spectacle. He’s also kind of a shady huckster.
    • Felicia Hardy - The Black Cat: Tim met Felicia at his old job bouncing at “The Dive.” Occasionally live music would play there, and it would draw some individuals one might not expect. She immediately stood out from the crowd with her stark white hair. Totally out of his league. She took notice of Tim when he intervened in a fight at the bar and stopped a stabbing... but blocking the knife with his own stomach. He was not a normal person. He was different. He was something... amazing. Felicia, perpetually bored with the mundane, approached him and started... whatever it is that they have going on.

What Tim doesn’t know is that Felia is also The Black Cat, a skilled thief and burglar. Felicity is well-aware of Aegis’s penchant for doing the right thing. She frankly loves it when he saves the day. She’s waiting for an opportunity to interact with him as The Black Cat, if for no other reason than to see what he’ll do.
    • Various Friends on the Street: Too many to count these days.

    Enemies
    TBD, working on it

Accident: Aegis is super strong. He needs to be careful where he fights or serious property damage can occur.

    Spoiler: Appearance
    Show
Melissa Gold is a very short, barely 5'6, and mousey Jewish woman who is, nonetheless, extremely muscular and ripped with only two nose-dimples where glasses may have once sat. She wears her hair military short but dyes it persistently pink and spiky. She doesn't look very odd in her civies, usually simple and down-played, but cuts an impressive figure in her black and purple exo-suit.

    Spoiler: Backstory
    Show
Melissa was raised an army brat constantly moving with few friends and learned everything she could about morality from her dad who seemed unbending like iron and twice as stubborn. When she was young her mom dyed, nothing anybody could do about it, and Mimi can barely remember her voice; mainly the songs she sung. After that her dad started drinking a lot but instead of running away she stuck around cause she loved her dad, drunk and all. It was a shame that soon after her mom passed was when they finally got to settle down somewhere which had been a dream of mama. Dad had learned how to box in the Navy so that's what he did at home too and he was pretty good at it, they didn't hurt too bad but Melissa did remember a few hungry nights.

Something happened when she was a teenager that shattered her view of her "perfect" dad and that was she caught him throwing matches for the money, funding his drinking habit of course, not to pay off their debts. After that Mimi, as she called herself, fell in with a bad crowd and her alcoholic father hardly noticed. While the street-tough life was fun and she made life long friends like Hellen Feliciano and Robin Braxton, she still joined the military and got away as soon as she could, partly out of respect for who her dad once was and partly for a sense of discipline. It also helped her pay her way into college.

In the Air Force she met Sam Wilson, both assigned to the 58th Rescue Squad, and began an ill-advised romantic relationship with him. While serving, Sam Wilson and his best friend, Riley, ended up as the test subjects for a new experimental flight system. It seemed to be going well until Riley ended up dead in the line of duty, and the resulting trauma ended up in Sam Wilson resigning from active duty, which lead to a fight and ultimate split between them. Unwilling to let the project go quite yet, Melissa Gold was eager to take her former paramour's place testing the flight harness.

While the unit at Fort Meade was the only one left that Sam Wilson was aware of, SHIELD had unwisely purchased several copies of the original prototype in case it may come in handy but finding someone with the capacity to use them was rare. A good, loyal, and willing soldier already and someone SHIELD had their eye on already, Melissa was a perfect SHEILD Agent and used the EXO-FALCON suit on many occasions in their service. When she proved herself loyal enough she was trusted with more sensitive information and missions, eventually being inducted into the levels of HYDRA within SHIELD. Unwilling to question authority and with a strong lawful authority in place, Melissa was happy to serve.

Now an official HYDRA operate, Melissa operated both as a SHIELD Agent and her missions for the nefarious shadow organization. It was at this point she was trusted with inducting new membership into HYDRA. She joined a women's fighting club inside SHIELD that was organized by a woman named Davida DeVito, also a secret HYDRA Agent, and easily recruited several recent SHIELD operatives including her old friends Hellen and Robin. Having been involved in wrestling back in college she easily fit in and enjoyed herself, eventually dating new flame Marian Pouncy, or Poundcakes, an extremely large and strong woman.

Unknown to Melissa her new girlfriend had a new form of the Super Soldier Serum tested on her. Two doctors within HYDRA had two concoctions that they had been testing on the willing and unwilling within HYDRA. Dr. Deidre Wentworth, probably one of the five most foremost doctors of biology and Gamma Radiation, had developed a version of the Banner Serum and believed that the secret to achieving a more desirable Captain America-level of soldier was diluting the serum and making it weaker. This had resulted in five deaths, including a friend of Melissa named Deborah Lowry, and two success stories- namely Melissa's girlfriend Poundcakes and a woman she only ever knew as Battleaxe. Two women who were unquestionably very strong but also limited in their mobility and extremely bulky.

The other scientist, a doctor Ann Fraley, had less success but a much more gentle demeanor and less of a body count. Hellen, Melissa, and another woman named Susan were her favorite test subjects. Hellen took to jokingly calling Fraley's serum the Screaming Mimi because of how much Melissa screamed in the testing. Dr. Fraley believed that a series of burnings were required to achieve success, slowly destroying old weak muscle and replacing with steadily stronger and stronger tissue. An extremely slow, painful but non-lethal process. This went on for several months as they continued to work as double operatives, Melissa even briefly racing against her old boyfriend Sam Wilson to protect the secrets of HYDRA, but it couldn't last forever and HYDRA was compromised.

In the final days of HYDRA as she knew it they became desperate; ordering Deidre and Fraley to work together and combine their serum, but the suggestion didn't go over well with either of the women. Ann died under suspicious circumstances soon after and Dr. Deidre took full control of the project and combined the two serums into what she considered the perfect serum making Melissa Gold and several others, including Hellen, into near Captain America level super-soldiers. The regeneration around her vocal chords from the screaming herself raw and broken made her voice especially powerful but if she used the scream too often her vocal cavity would snap and she would have to wait for it to regenerate.

HYDRA and, especially, Deidre herself, despite getting two women to nearly the desire level, still wasn't satisfied and began throwing safety to the wind and using the original Banner formula, believing that diluting it with merely Fraley's formula and boosting the intelligence would be 'enough'. Young Louis Lembert and many others lost their lives but HYDRA was too desperate for metahumans to argue with her. Melissa refused further treatment, but her new boyfriend, eager to prove himself, volunteered. David Angar was already enhanced to a similar level of his girlfriend Melissa and her friend Hellen with even the power of the scream which Hellen lacked, but taking this second dose of the serum turned him into a screaming gamma monstrosity. While he didn't die, Melissa never saw him again. Believing the answer was so close, Dr. Deidre was able to tweak the serum once more on HYDRA Agent Samuel Sterns, who was posing as a janitor for Tony Stark. The process worked too well in producing a super soldier but her last few 'attempts' had all been signature green which was a clear tie-back to the Hulk which HYDRA did not want.

Angry at being denied further test subjects, the last thing she expected was loyal HYDRA Agents Melissa Gold and Robin Braxton to turn on her. With the "deaths" of several of her friends and a general delusion with the dying HYDRA, they both made sure HYDRA lost those resources. While they left Dr. Deidre for dead inside a burning building she survived long enough to give her last perfect serum a try on her last subject- herself. Melissa herself, Hellen Feliciano, Poundcakes, Sandy Stalmaster, Robin Braxton, Susan Hayakawa, Davida DeVito and Melissa's unpowered non-SHIELD friend Heather O'Gara later joined together obstinately as the SHIELD Grapplers to use their temporally still high-level HYDRA clearance to stop several ongoing HYDRA plans and save hundreds of lives, including averting ZEMO from downloading the specs for a new body based on ULTRON. Sandy Stalmaster and Davida DeVito were both killed in one of these miniature raids and the impromptu team soon disbanded as it ran out of steam.

Unfortunately, HYDRA doesn't forget and would spend the next years hunting down the members of the team one by one as they integrated into society or went on the run. Melissa had settled for the later and made her living as she had for HYDRA- stealing important technology and trying to sell it, her sense of morality all but dead. This wasn't made any better by the knowledge that friends Susan and Robin had been murdered in the last few months and that it was her dear friend Hellen Feliciano that had sold them all out.

Desperate to escape she made a risky ploy and went after some tech she shouldn't have which put her into direct conflict with Spider-Man. The boy had already fought Captain America once and, without her wings, she was no match. Somehow this landed her straight into Nick Fury's hands and not Tony Stark. Nick Fury remembered her from her SHIELD days and, desperate as she was, offered her a job in his new and improved SHIELD- no HYDRA version. He figured that at least she wasn't HYDRA since they probably wanted her dead pretty bad. If this seemed like a risky move for Fury, it was... because this was Skrull Agent Talos posing as Nick Fury. But, grateful for the offer, she accepted, eager to prove herself and gleam up some of her darker deeds of the past. And that landed her working for the Initiative under the codename Songbird with a new STARK-TECH AVENGERS CLASS EXO-7 FALCON SUIT.

    Spoiler: Complications
    Show
Acceptance: Melissa Gold was just an extremely loyal and efficient SHIELD Agent who found herself in way too deep to stop questioning orders now. While she was certainly an operative of HYDRA and a terrorist she now struggles to prove that she is still good and trustworthy both to the public and to herself.

Doing Good: Songbird wants to do good and upload justice more than anything, it's just that at one point she was duped into believing that a strong controlling authoritarian government was the answer. Now she takes a more practical approach.

Justice, Revenge, Responsibility: A combination of things drive Songbird onward to take out scumbags that should have already been punished, including HYDRA Agents still walking around free and in power. Melissa considers this a personal travesty, especially as she had to live on the run for a year. Songbird considers HYDRA her personal obligation, especially the surviving Serum Experiments.

Patriotism: Melissa loves America and that's why she joined the military and SHIELD to start with, and she is disgusted that HYDRA was allowed to nearly take over or that she was a part of it.

Prejudice (Jewish): In the modern day and throughout all of history there has been racism and prejudice, and the Hebrew people have received their fair share.

The Serum: While the Fraley and Goliath Serum injections left her with superficially the same abilities and powers as Captain America, they did not imbue her with the disease and resistances or with an extended life span. In fact, her and most of the other surviving members of the HYDRA experiments have a greatly reduced life-span and medical problems as their bodies work overtime.

    Friends
Poundcakes (Marian Pouncy): A dear friend and former lover, Marian now works as the bouncer for an “all ladies” club. Poundcakes, as she now calls herself, was probably the most fortunate of the Rampage Serum subjects with the least intelligence loss. Extremely strong and durable but equally as slow and bulky she wasn’t cut out to be a spy. Still a great ally to have and surviving Grappler.

Davida DeVito: While though to be dead this former friend of Melissa is actually still alive. She faked her death because she knew Hellen would betray them because she was made the same offer- a way back into HYDRA. The only survivor of the experiments that only took the undiluted Fraley Serum that boosts your abilities slightly but it’s still mostly just her. If she were to reveal herself to anyone it would be Mimi, and she would be an ally and surviving Grappler. She is by no means a hero and looks out for her own self interest.

Heather O’Gara: A friend of Melissa who is an expert at getting things worth getting and uses a variety of ill-gotten tech. She has her own set of Avengers Class Exo-7 Falcon Wings, to say the least. A good friend, surviving Grappler and near Ulysses Klaue level black market dealer that Melissa met and released while she worked for SHIELD in exchange for certain favors and, honestly, because she took a liking to her.

Vivian Dolan: Melissa’s current roommate and a friend she’s had since college, also considered an “honorary” Grappler. This was because she took care of the more behind-the-scenes aspects of the few missions they undertook against HYDRA; cooking, moral support, and a steady income with a regular job. Cheerful, chubby and delightful, especially when she lets the rent slide a few months. Having a serious relationship with her long-term girlfriend, Bombshell (Wendy Conrad)- an ex-Special Forces with a taste for explosives.

Dr. Tilda Johnson (Dr. Nightshade): An expert doctor of genetics and ex-HYDRA who left the organization not because of any moral quandary but because she wanted to escape that sinking ship and go solo. Melissa sees her for help with her unique serum problems because Dr. Nightshade is obsessed with meta humans. She’d likely do anything for the right money or motivation but she is an incredible resource. Voted most likely of her friends to betray her 2019.

Nick Fury?: The real Nick Fury, or is it? Melissa certainly worked with, or rather under, the likes of Nick Fury, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow but she never actually had a conversation with them. This represents the “Nick Fury” she has on speed dial.

    Enemies
Hellen Feliciano: Childhood friend, surviving Grappler and now hated enemy, Hellen was her best friend before she sold them all out for HYDRA. Her powers are superficially the equal of Captain America, a near perfect super soldier. Having gotten at least three of friends killed their relationship is complicated to say the least.

Battleaxe: Victim of Rampage Serum and the physical equal of Poundcakes but she never left HYDRA. Only ever went by Battleaxe and the serum didn’t increase her vocabulary at all. Very ruthless with a poly-fiber battle-axe like her name suggests.

Angar "The Screamer": Melissa’s former boyfriend that she met in the program, now a Hulk-level Gamma monster. His powers were the equal of Melissa before he took another dose so those screaming powers only grow more powerful. Probably locked away somewhere; insane, aggressive and mutated beyond repair.

Ronna Phillips: Also a mad Hulk-level monster, former SHIELD Agent. Location unknown, probably with HYDRA. Likely insane with rage and not in control.

Dawn Middlebury: Considered the hottest girl in HYDRA by a now redacted document distributed by some male HYDRA personnel. She underwent the same treatments as Melissa and Hellen, left HYDRA, but refused to assist the Grapplers. Kind of the worst.

Diane Davidson (Ogre): Once a JAG Lawyer, Ex-Military, and considered herself Dr. Deidre's best friend. The Rampage Serum destroyed her mind and left her mentally diminished, something which Deidre regrets. A second dose, this time with the Ogre Serum, restored her original intelligence but gave her the voice of Deidre in her ear as well as extreme insanity. Pretty much She-Hulk at this point. Location unknown, ran off in an insane frenzy.

Samuel Sterns: Deidre considered this experiment to be the perfect result, much like Hellen, Melissa, and, of course, herself. Given the Ogre Serum he is blessed with a near human looking physique with a simple extended forehead and bulging muscles, as well as his Gamma-standard green skin. Despite this he still retains a near full sweep of the powers of the Hulk with no intelligence lost. Samuel Sterns was a cunning HYDRA and SHIELD operative that posed as Tony Stark's janitor before being given the serum which boosted his intelligence slightly and gave him a version of Deidre in his head as well as her knowledge, memories and some personality traits. Unlike many others who treat her in their head as an other and develop a split personality, Samuel Sterns dominated and subsumed Deidre into his main personality. Might be running HYDRA some day as the thematic descendant of the Red Skull; a highly intelligent green face with a wicked slasher smile.

Dr. Deidre Wentworth (Superia): The scientist behind the HYDRA Super Soldier Experiments who mainly worked with the Banner Serum and took over the Fraley Serum as well. mainly working with the Banner Serum and, of course, still alive. Her final combination serum (whatever she did to it) worked perfectly granting her extraordinary abilities but without altering her body at all or causing the mental degradation of many of the other serums. She was granted powers superficially similar to Captain Marvel, including fight and green gamma energy blasts. Her mind was broken and enhanced to an even greater level with the genetic past version of herself in the serum doubling her intelligence and driving her mad. The Superia Serum allowed her to survive the explosion, but she now believes this gift is for her alone and left HYDRA for different goals that make sense only to her.

    Spoiler: Serums
    Show
Rampage Serum: This was Dr. Deidre's pet name for her first serum which was a heavily reworked Banner Serum. It's purpose was to edit out some bugs in the original serum and get a product closer to Captain America. Most who took this serum died, but survivors of it included Poundcakes, Battleaxe, Ronna Phillips, Stuart Clarke, Sandy Stalmaster, and Diane Davidson. The result was a bulky and heavily muscular body with greatly enhanced strength and durability that could almost rival a low-level The Thing on the serum's best day, but much too slow and heavy to move quickly or leap. Tragically, the serum did come with a bit of diminished intelligence, increased aggression, and a reduced life span. It was a pretty good attempt but not exactly what HYDRA was looking for.

Fraley's Serum (Screaming Mimi): Unnamed by Fraley but nicknamed by Hellen, this was HYDRA's original attempt at a super serum but it's results were deemed too weak and too slow. It would certainly convey a level of increased speed, strength, and stamina but the folks it was used on were all already pretty awesome so the effect was hard to judge. Melissa Gold, Hellen Feliciano, Davida DeVito, Dawn Middlebury, David Angar, Deb Lowry, Robin Braxton, and Susan Hayakawa all took this serum. While it had a zero percent mortality rate, the only survivor today with only this serum in them is Davida DeVito who would be a three in all attributes, maybe Speed 1, Natural Protection 1, Natural Damage 1.

Combination First Attempt: When ordered to collaborate, Dr. Deidre simply forced the Fraley Serum together with her diluted Banner Serum (Rampage) with little regard and tested it, potentially to make Dr. Fraley look bad. It reflected poorly on both of them and Dr. Fraley died mysteriously soon after. Everyone who took this serum died, including Deb Lowry and Stuart Clarke.

Combination Second Attempt (Goliath Serum): On her second attempt, alone, Dr. Deidre managed to mainly use Fraley's Serum as a base and only amplified it with the Banner Serum (using less of a dilution on it, but using blockers to keep the intelligence diminishing aspects of it at bay). The result was a mutant Fraley Serum that worked quickly pushing the body to it's limits and speeding up the heart rate and metabolism, repairing dead tissue with much stronger tissue, burning out the tissue at a rate that should have been lethal if not for the Banner Serum providing regeneration. Melissa Gold, Hellen Feliciano, David Angar, Robin Braxton, Sandy Stalmaster, and Dawn Middlebury all took this version of the serum. Davida DeVito and Susan Hayakawa refused. With very little of the diminished intelligence of earlier versions, but still with the advanced aggression, Dr. Deidre considered this a perfect attempt (even with the high mortality rate, health problems, and reduced lifespan) and most recipients received an almost near-copy of Captain America's abilities, with Hellen, Robin, and Melissa getting the closest in that order. It also came with a numbness that meant they had to relearn some skills.

Combination Third Attempt (Grendel Serum) Incensed that HYDRA basically told her close but no cigar on what she considered the perfect attempt, she tried again, this time with what was basically undiluted Banner Serum mixed with Fraley's Serum, using intelligence boosters that caused massive insanity. Very few people that took it could take the strain and only two making it, David Angar and Ronna Phillips; both only making it because of the earlier versions of the serum they took. But they lived only to exist as tortured green obvious gamma mutants with barely any control of themselves. This wasn't Dr. Deidre's finest work. Called Grendel Serum because it only creates monsters.

Combination Fourth Attempt (Ogre Serum): Using what she learned with the last attempt, Diedre used a modified version of the Banner Serum that traded strength and durability for no decrease of intelligence mixed with a double dose of the full Fraley Serum. She also continued to add in intelligence boosters for their limited benefit and massive levels of insanity. Deciding to cheat slightly, Dr. Diedre also created a genetic scan of her brain so that the subjects would have her intelligence as a base (but also some of her memories and personality). Running low on volunteers she was able to use it on only three test subjects; Diane Davidson, Robin Braxton, and Samuel Sterns. The result in every case that survived was a green Hulk-looking monster with low-level Hulk powers but also with an advanced intelligence. Unfortunately, the insanity, paranoia, and schizophrenia caused by the serum were bigger problems and all of them developed a split personality. They were also all easily traceable back to the original Banner formula.

Superia Serum: Basically the Ogre Serum but she did something to the concoction that changed it's chemical makeup significantly. Many believe that she somehow used the Terrasect to alter it somehow to account for it's vast superiority to the other serums, granting the user no skin color change, health problems or reduced aging and changing the body very little in exchange for a Captain Marvel level of power in strength, stamina, speed and flight, even being able to manipulate gamma energy into a blast. The user would still receive the increased aggression and insanity of the Ogre Serum, however, and the brain scan of Dr. Diedre. This wasn't so big of a deal as the only known subject injected with the serum was Dr. Diedre herself.

Love the combination of Black Canary + Falcon there! One not, unless you are investing heavily in Impervious, it isn't really worth it in 3E, remember it's effective ranks are halved. So Impervious 4 only stops rank 2 or less effects, a rank 2 damage effect is DC 17, so with your 12 Toughness you beat that on a 5 or more. You *could* drop Immunity Bullets, take Second Chance (Ballistic Damage) and add four more ranks of Impervious, giving you Impervious 8, which would mean you ignore most street level weaponry from knives, to handguns, and some SMG's. Or you could drop the Impervious entirely, keep the Ballistic Immunity, giving you 4 PP to purchase some immunities, cold, low pressure & breathing would mean you have no effective ceiling on your flight. I would also drop Subtle 1 (Hearing) on your flight so you could glide in all stealth like.

Your 10 Rank Affliction is undefined, so you may want to let us know what the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd rank conditions are. Also, 4 ranks of Dazzle is going to be fairly easy for most equal PL characters to defend against, though it could ring the ears of minions I suppose, however, the damage is likely to drop minions before the dazzle really comes into effect, I might build it with damage, affliction (daze/vulnerable, stun/defenseless), weaken 10, and dazzle 10, rather than linking a weak dazzle to everything. Again, that's just me.

The above are just suggestions based on my own take on the character, disregard as you please. I love the concept and the mashup, works really well for me!

Wow, thanks! That makes me happy.

OH right, well I did have Subtle on my flight but dropped it to squeeze in Impervious so I'll gladly get it back and I love my Immunity to Bullets. I didn't take Immunity to Suffocation because I was worried about the ascetics of screaming and having a breathing mask on, but I'll think of something to replace Impervious, thanks!

Ah I thought of something later, I’ll squeeze in an immunity to suffocation at half effect under my Super Serum boosts to represent holding her breath a long time!

Embarrassingly yes I forgot to put in my nausea effects I was gonna do that last. I considered having it be an alternate power but I thought it would be weird the sound only took their hearing on one power and I wasn't sure how to model it. It would let me squeeze out some scant more in the way of points and y'all could just pretend it was loud but not loud enough to go deaf on the other frequencies. XD

    Thanks for your suggestions.

Great job dude, I like his backstory a lot, even if it is super bleak and depressing He must be a DC hero

I do wish his ability stats were a little more spread out, similar to Songbird's or Enforcers, but it's not too bad that I'm gonna insist you change it. Just something to think about tweaking if possible.

Any critique welcome if you can squeeze it in. I can never quite fit in everything that I want.
Damn, really, really good job here. I love the backstory you weaved - were you already familiar with the Superia arc from the Captain America comics? Getting major vibes of her femizon army with Mimi's backstory, haha. Not to mention the Grapplers... You really did a deep dive. I love what you've done with this character, very excited to see her in action.

It seems Zero ninja'd me on any comments, the sheet appears to be in order. It seems like you took a lot of my comments about how I like sheets to be made to heart.

I'm going to make my final decisions tomorrow and announce the roster via PM. Thanks for all the interest everyone, it's been cool seeing all your interesting ideas!

Haha. It does have some heavy themes, but overall I think it makes the character more optimistic. When you have godlike superpowers, you have two choices. You can either try to take over the world or try to save it. He comes from nothing. Worse than nothing. You would think he is a supervillain in the making. But he isn't. He's good. He overcomes where he came from.

Where he is now is a story of finding his own family. Choosing his own community.

As for attributes, I literally can't afford to spend anymore points. I tried to give him the skills I think he would have. He's a high school dropout. =P

I plan to flesh out his enemies a bit more, but my toddler has had strep throat this week, so it will be forthcoming.

Added background an complication details to Agency. Also considered giving him a sword but decided not to mess with his equipment because if I start down that road I won't be able to settle on one specific set of equipment.

Wow thanks a bunch, yeah I liked Superia, trying to fit the best parts of the stories into MCU’s more realistic tone is fun. I made all but a handful of her experiments women because of her subtle bias and her trying to create a super strong female force on the sly, but I left it open if the Femizons would ever truly exist. XD

In regards to the vote, and I mentioned this to Super earlier, if y'all want we can enter Discord as a third option to GITP and custom forum.

The majority of my online RPG's are here on the site, I would much rather keep the game in the standard OOC/IC format here on the boards. That being said, I prefer a Discord to supplement the game, a place to ask questions or clarifications, and continue in a much more conversational format.

We're currently sitting at 3 votes for Discord as the primary option, with one more vote clinching it as per my stipulation earlier today. If we are going to do it there, which I suspect we might be, I'll just want to make sure we're not moving too quickly so as to unduly pressure players into posting more than they are able or comfortable with.

I'm also fine using an IC / OOC thread here with supplemental Discord.

I'll set up one for us to chat, if nothing else, tonight once the kiddo is asleep.
