Nala was born to unknown parents, dropped off on the doorstep to Redwall in a basket with a flute in it.

No one saw who left her behind, but the people of Redwall, being good folk, took her in and raised her. She grew up a curious girl, always asking questions and getting into trouble. She always had a knack for sneaking around and getting places people didn't want her, but she never caused any real harm. Some people were quite surprised to find her in their closet or somewhere else unexpected, but not once was anything taken, nor was anyone hurt. Eventually, the warriors and leaders of Redwall decided to ask her to put her skills to good use. She agreed in a heartbeat-of course she'd help her family here! So, she was taught how to wield weapons, though it's not something she enjoys doing.

She's often sent out on scouting runs, just surveying the area, as she's very fast, very sneaky, and very good at getting way in case sneakiness fails.

I'm putting it at DC 10 CON save from exhaustion 0 to exhaustion 1, 12 from 1 to 2, 14 from 2 to 3, and so on, until 20 from 5 to 6. From when you get Exhaustion 2, your speed is halved, so the next hours take double time. Of course, that doesn't necessarily slow down the entire party, so only that character with Exhaustion 2 takes double time for the last hours.

I am giving Quincy -1 Exhaustion to begin with, being a member of the Long Patrol. So DC 8 to go from -1 to 0

Yeah, I was struggling to think about that. In one practice determining what kind of system I would use for exhaustion, one (it was nala) got Exhaustion 2 on hour 2, meaning it would take an additional 6 hours to reach St. Bracken's if they didn't leave them behind. Since Brix got exhaustion 2 hour 4, that would mean it takes another 2 as the 5th hour of Nala's making becomes the 6th hour and more chances for the others to get exhausted. This still isn't that bad- At least it isn't the 12 hours it would take if you took a long rest to be well rested before taking 4 normal unhindered hours.

I admit I kind of autopiloted that in exactly the wrong way. It's fixable since I didn't use the forum roller, and since that makes more sense, I'll roll out 2 more hours of travel for the others and 1 more for Nala, then edit the IC to match.

Rolled legit-- It didn't end up changing much, besides that Quincy didn't go to Exhaustion 0 from -1. Will edit the IC now. EDIT: realized I didn't give advantage to Brix's hour 4. They also didn't get Exhaustion 4, and rolled a 9, just enough to add their con save to end up with enough

In the future, I might use separate d20's for each character so I can't go using up the luck that definitely exists on it before it comes back round to people who really need it.

30 feet to the closest (southernmost) clump of trees, 45 to the middle one, 60 to the furthest north which the brother approached. But 10 feet of these distances is difficult terrain over the stream the stream. To avoid this, there's 20 feet upstream to the crossing which is 10 feet to cross.

Where Quincy is positioned, they can reach the furthest north trees with their move.
