Blurry avatars
I've started noticing some avatars going very blurry. It's not just one, but a couple. Is this some new site feature?

Re: Blurry avatars
It's a site issue, but not about this site.
GitP is a decently sized site, and many people host their avatars on third party sites. Those sites notice that serving the avatars involves a large amount of bandwidth going to one site, and generally screw with it one way or another to entice the person whose image it is to pay for hosting services. That, or just block any requests from GitP altogether.Last edited by Anymage; 2019-10-02 at 10:07 PM.

Re: Blurry avatars
It's mostly photobucket. I'm one of the blurry avatared, and have vaguely contemplated switching.
I would really like to see a game made by Obryn, Kurald Galain, and Knaight from these forums.
I'm not joking one bit. I would buy the hell out of that. -- ChubbyRain

Re: Blurry avatars
I made a thread about this a couple weeks ago. Go ahead and visit it on how I figured out how to solve the problem. It's mainly photobucket changing its policy on free users to try and force them to pay money.
