    I agree he shouldn't go around breaking the 4th wall, that would be too on the nose. But come on, DC's got a dude with no powers who dresses up like a bat and one who talks to fish; there's plenty of material in-universe, and I haven't even gotten to Kite Man yet.

    I'm not the only one to see the parallels either.
    Its also not exactly a well hidden secret that dc and marvel are historically obsessed with ripping each other off. Virtually any character has an analogue of some sort on the other side.

    Given a cheeky nod and wink when the JLA and Avengers met, and Hawkeye promptly declared them a 'Squadron Supreme knockoff' (the Squadron being... one of... Marvel's JLA expies).
