I think the case for inclusion is pretty clear.

Yeah, include, and I'm not just saying that because the Giant replied to me in the comment.

Inclusion is a bit of a no-brainer for this one.

Regarding the summary text: Editing by committee isn't the most efficient way to write stuff. We traditionally leave it to Jasdoif to come up with it, and provide him with feedback only after the fact.

Probably very fair. But we've also got 48 whole pages to fill. How're we going to do that if we don't talk pointlessly back and forth at each other?

I say include the quote about Snarl/plane/plan/9th level spell.
Each one of us, alone, is but a drop in the sea
Our powers pale compared with the great heroes
Our battles don’t hit theheadlines or shake the earth
But they are few, can’t be everywhere, and we, many
So, when the world or universe needs saving, they come
But when people needs saving, we are the ones to appear
We're underdogs, but we rise up to the challenge to be heroes.
    (Wishing Joe, a low-powered superhero)

Fun fact: That was the leader of the suggestions for the name of the second thread, but the title voting was all ignored for that one.

I also support the inclusion of the quote on Thor’s and the Dark One’s plans. It’s a very clear explanation of what’s going on. In particular, the point about how the Snarl can’t traverse planes without somebody else making a portal for it is an interesting note to me, that explains the remaining gods’ survival of its initial attack much better. Making it clear that we can rule out trickery for getting the slot is also nice.
    Sincerely,

"Usually" being the key word. I'm unlikely to find better wording if no one else proposes wording, after all. Further, it's helpful for me to gauge what everyone thinks the important part of a post is; sometimes the Giant talks about multiple subjects in one post, and what I think is worth mentioning isn't always what other people care about.

Also, it's nice to see that we can move from point to point without being on edge.

I second this. This thread was made for quotes such as this.
Ever wondered how many games are mentioned in the comic? I have listed them all in a geeklist: https://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/2...es-order-stick

The Giant posted in the "Where have the calandars gone" explaining that he takes the calendars off Gumroad after a while because they sell little and he doesn't want to clutter his page with them and puts them back on when someone asks for them.
    Spoiler: The quote

The reason is that they are a very, very low-selling item, largely because digital wall calendars don't make a lot of sense in the first place, and ones that are out of date make even less. Last year, I made exactly 11 sales of all the older digital calendars, combined, by far the lowest selling of anything I make. I would prefer, therefore, not to clutter my Store page with a list of items that hardly anyone is going to buy, because I think the more crowded that page is, the less likely people are going to scroll through it. However, every single year, someone starts a thread like this and asks about the old calendars, so I turn them back on.*

If no one had asked about them this year, I wouldn't bring them back. As it is, I'll probably turn them back on when the ornament goes on sale this week. I'm going to bundle the 2018 and 2019 calendars together with a discount, which means I need to do some housekeeping with the Gumroad site rather than just flipping a switch.

And seriously: I have zero interest in manipulating anyone's time, and if I could figure out ways to make sure people knew that there was stuff for sale without announcing it over and over, I would. As it is, I can plaster it on every square inch of the website and people still don't see it and then get upset at me when something they wanted sells out.

    * I mean, the only reason I sell current digital calendars is because people started asking for them. It would have never occurred to me, and they're still a low-selling item that I wouldn't otherwise bother with except that they cost me nothing to make.

The current comic is #1187 and I think this could go in the "Supporting the strip" section.

Looks like a clear-cut inclusion to me.
