That's pretty much what I'd expect from Sidgi.

The strip raised a question for me, however, not about the story, but about the game. When a chopped-of member is regenerated, wha happens to the part that was cut? Does it dissolves magically? Does it remains and decomposes the usual way? Is it possible for someone with Regenerate to leave a trail of hands or arms that all belong to the same person? What kind of silly and horrible trail would that be?

As practical as she is, Sigdi is still... person-like. (What? I couldn't say "human.") Afraid and skittish when real change possible. She'll have to relearn and unlearn a lot when, or should I say, if she decides to let Durkon regenerate her lost arm.

I really like Sigdi, she'd make a good paladin -but

- that's just sad. Dwarfish society seems to be so focused to please a higher being, to be responsible for others, that any personal wishes are seen as unhealthy. Now Hilgya's behaviour looks more reasonable in comparision - it is not moraly excusable, but it is more understandable. Especially if there is no middle ground for Dwarves between Loki and Thor.

Minrah turned back while still on the Rainbow Bridge, she never got into Valhalla. Durkon knows Tenrin isn't holding Sigdi's hand because:
1) the hand isn't in Valhalla.
2) That would be kinda daft and that's his point here.

Now us forumites can finally stop worrying about Minrah getting ganked by Curly and turned into a vampire before she got back to the Order. Or getting kidnapped by Sabine and used as the IFCC's vessel. Or dying in a spontaneous underground landslide. Or something.

I'd be disappointed if at least a couple people didn't propose the theory that this is actually someone else shapeshifted into Minrah's form, though .

A theory that is ostensibly possible but is in no way supported by the text, adds nothing to the narrative, and would just needlessly clog an already stuffed-to-the-brim main plot?
