Is the Hypertext SRD riddled with errors, or am I just unlucky?
I'm talking about this one: http://5e.d20srd.org/index.htm
It's the free SRD material on 5e, collected into a wiki-like hypertext site. I used the 3.5e one all the time.
But I've found two errors in this 5e site, which makes me wonder whether there are a lot more errors in it which I just haven't found yet.
The two I have found are:
- Prestidigitation has incorrect casting data (a question I posted on the Simple RAW thread identified it as the casting information for Prayer of Healing).
- Rogue armour proficiencies are incorrectly listed as light, medium, and shields when they only get light armour.
Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

Yeah, I've noticed more errors before, though I don't remember where they were. I generally use https://www.5esrd.com/ for SRD-related things (when I need to quote text and can't be bothered to rewrite it from the books), though that one is choked with 3rd party stuff, also not ideal.
It's Eberron, not ebberon.
It's not high magic, it's wide magic.
And it's definitely not steampunk. The only time steam gets involved is when the fire and water elementals break loose.

Yeah. I've noticed a certain sloppiness to their 5e content as well. I've moved to using D&DBeyond for all my srd-relevant questions.

Re: Is the Hypertext SRD riddled with errors, or am I just unlucky?
I believe they list the wrong number of skill proficiencies for rangers, which lead to more than one mistake on my part before I was corrected, and the wrong damage die for shortswords. Most of it seems accurate enough for quick reference, but there are definitely better sites for the 5e SRD. Their 3.5 material still seems solid, though.

I have noticed too, although i think its down to only the basic rules being srd complient and the player handbook stuff is copyright
