I'm not sure how you guys make templates, that's what I do, though.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
Doop de doo, working on a comic, I haven't died... Just haven't had a lot of time for ABR lately. Hopefully, by tonight, I'll have the current comic finished.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
No lying you've never attacked Nightwing physically or magically (as far as I'm concerned) and I'll clarify too, that's not like testifying by the way,
-some abllity's will always be beyond a character shades reach, no matter how strong their number and regardless of the minuim level to be able to cast a spell. More specific examples of this will be Boomwolf's ability to abuse metamagic (they can create fire balls and such, but not create another sword or enchant it with a fireball, nor "jedi it") also on the list is Lying's spell that allows him to nuke an area, or rather if his author had not persisted in asking, it would not be on the list at all, since he is currently flying away from the shades at mach 5 and hasn't encountered nightwing prime. no offence or anything-offical catalogger of all the reasons why single word spells should not take more than one page for the fanclub

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
Alright... no other pictures here for the trailer yet? *sigh* I'll make some, but someone might want to help me here or give me ideas. Of course I can re-use pictures that were in the previous trailer.
So... any ideas/pictures?
Oh and Firedrake, no need to add a background. I did that for you already.
Almost forgot: Good to hear you got your PC back salmon
@^ So far, it's been good.
@V It's a trailer, so two things are important:
The trailer is
1. Non-canon to the plot or anything
2. One or more pictures aren't going to ruin the trailer.Last edited by Omicroncubed; 2007-11-06 at 12:18 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
*Incoming miscellaneous character shade information*
Curiously and unlike every other kind of shade character shade's can bleed, all other types merely fall apart or "dissolve". This could indicate that the spell alters them on a genetic level, but how then would we explain them appearing fully equipped and armoured.
Regardless unless enough damage is done quickly enough, once a character shade is defeated it will dissipate and return to the original shades that made it, though they will fail all initiative checks for the next 6 rounds are considered flat-footed and lose all memorised spells upon returning to original form.
The spells a character shade can cast are mostly low level ones that the actually character know, though a few spells carry over, It is believed that once cast the spell (true name unknown will be referred to as character spell for the time being) it cannot be cast again, though if there are any mage shades capable of casting it again, they will most certainly be with Nightwing himself.
*End of extra info*

I would like to know, what exactly is the avatar battle royale?
it sounds cool, and I'd like to join. Just some information of what it is, how to join, and what you have to do to join.

Draw an avatar, and inflict pain and suffering upon other avatars....and we also heave a plot...we draw comics in-plot...we try not to kill as much there...

Re: Avatar Battle Royale - Discussion
I really want to allow it and all, but we have a massive horde of people as it is...we could probably make Xerxe's army with all the people we have
I mean, I don't want to sound like a complete jerk, but we've got 17 different artist avatars on the Citadel alone at the moment, with more in Blauport fighting Nightwing and his army (Even Nightwing himself is the avatar of an artist, though he hasn't posted in a long time)
So, if you're joining, could you do the plot-bound artists a great favour and do mostly traditional ABR art? (That being randomly slaughtering people, Randomizer makes a good role model for this)Last edited by Lyinginbedmon; 2007-11-06 at 02:50 PM.

Nah, you just kill who you want...it will be non-canon (meaning it does not get into the comic, mostly killing anyone just for the pride to be owning...)

Yes, but you should get a more proper avatar before you do.

An idea for a new banner: ABR, where you can eat your eyebrows, or wear them as moustaches.
