Jinx shakes his head in disbelief.

"First you need snow, it's like rain only frozen and fluffy. Then you roll it into balls, sphere if you like, and then stake then on top of each other with small spheres of frozen rain on top of smaller ones. and then you put a face on the top one with coal and a carrot or anything else you have handy. Any questions?"

The blue creature smiles at the plethora of volunteers it has gotten. "I would like to thank you all for...." He stands stock still, his eyes wide open. He walks toward the edge of the stage, stumbles, and falls off. A large dart is sticking out of his neck, and blood slowly seeps from the wound.

OOC: Zimmia, a caster check is 1d20+your caster level. It's used for determining if your spell can defeat certain obstacles, usually spell resistance, I believe. So, your caster level is 25, correct? I believe it is your level plus other modifiers, but you probably don't have anything modifying that, so, 25+8=33, not enough. Sorry.

IC: Kizanne's heal spell fails, and the blue creature's life slowly seeps out of him. Her detect poison spell detects dozens of different poisons in his system, slowly destroying his body.

Gnaf finds that the trail ends abruptly in the shadows.

IC: Kizanne's heal spell fails, and the blue creature's life slowly seeps out of him. Her detect poison spell detects dozens of different poisons in his system, slowly destroying his body.
I know what a caster check is, I guess I don't understand - unless the blue creature wasn't willing to allow the heal and wanted to die, in which case the spell would have been negated and no roll needed.
