Re: Webcomic: The Generica Chronicles: Updates 2 or 3 times a week
Wow, that guy's... not too good at testing.
The only bad thing about this comic is that we have to wait till next week for more. I'm not trying to rush you, though. I've done a few webcomics, I'm usually only bold enough to go for once a week updates.Last edited by yoshi927; 2007-11-28 at 11:29 PM.

Re: Webcomic: The Generica Chronicles: Updates 2 or 3 times a week
I'm going to be unable to draw any new comics until Tuesday. I have an oral report which counts for 30% () of my Art History grade on Tuesday, and really need to do well on it. Also contributing is my lack of internet access this weekend, which I will spend in my second home in the country -- far away from my desk. If my parents don't ban me from the computer when they find out how I do on the report, updates will resume at two to three a week afterwards.

Re: The Generica Chronicles: An OOTS style webcomic, updating 2 or 3 times a week
Although I like the comic and will continue to read it, just take this as constructive critisism. The plot isn't moving fast enough. It has been 8 pages already and we still have almost no idea of what is happening. 1-3 pages of vagueness is cool and interesting, but I thinkn many readers will stop after 8 pages without to much detail.
I like page 8 though, the fire-thing was fun.

I suppose the plot is moving rather slowly, but don't worry, it picks up in comic nine, in which our heroes will actually do some heroing.

Comic 9 is up. I'm starting to move the plot more here, now that I'm done with character exposition.

Yo. Seems like I missed comic 8. The wizard actually seems competent. There must be some mistake.
Hmm, Lee seems to be good with planning. I wonder if he'll hold up under pressure, though.

Is the foot going where it appears to be going?
Looks alright though, I think the pulse gag was good enough for the short strip, and the whole "The call is coming from inside the house" shpiel was certainly enough to give suspense on the next one

Re: The Generica Chronicles: An OOTS style webcomic, updating 2 or 3 times a week
^ Great comic. And I somehow doubt Cale saw the guy's cloak of invisibility; that would be very difficult.
Don't worry; I'm not quitting Generica, I've just been extremely busy. In the last five days alone, I've been out of town or otherwise unable to work on four. I'll try to get a comic done tomorrow.Last edited by [Insert Neat Username Here]; 2007-12-24 at 11:03 PM.

Do you remember comic five? I know I didn't specifically say it, but I thought it was pretty obvious that he was there for the gem.

Re: The Generica Chronicles: An OOTS style webcomic, updating 2 or 3 times a week
Well time is fleeting and so is my memory
But even then, if no-one is certain what it does, why steal it? Surely going through the case of using powerful magic and committing breaking and entering and murder are things that would be completely wasted if it actually was a bottle opener.
Someone must know something about what it does. Something big enough to warrant these kind of actions.
Or they could just by psychotic. Both are kinda likely.

Re: The Generica Chronicles: An OOTS style webcomic, updating 2 or 3 times a week
I'm sorry. I was going to start the next comic, then I discover that the past few weeks have been packed completely full. I don't have much work soon (of course, that probably means I have three tests and two essays due on wednesday that I didn't know about; that's how it's seemed to work so far) and know what will happen during the next few comics, so I should be able to update soon.
But I do have comic 12 done:SpoilerFounder of the invisible message army.SpoilerFounder of the Guy in a Fancy Cape Fanclub.
