Re: Remember: An ABR flashback
Here we go with some humour for page 17
Spoiler
This is quite probably the earliest page I've posted on schedule (For reference, it's a little past midnight here in the UK, so for me it is Monday)Last edited by Lyinginbedmon; 2007-12-10 at 03:05 AM.

Re: Remember: An ABR flashback
I've had two people tell me they wouldn't have known the skeleton was doing air guitar if I hadn't posted about it as incentive. Did you all understand it was air guitar?
Also, whilst the actual PC death will happen Monday, I imagine that Thursday's comic will invariably reveal who it is

Re: Remember: An ABR flashback
I didn't get it either. It's hard to draw an air guitar in one still frame of a stick figure comic. You probably should have had a sound effect: *air guitar solo*

Re: Remember: An ABR flashback
I've added a twitter to the front page in my second post (Post #3. with a link in the first), to give a realtime view of how far along I am with the next comic, when it is due, as well as how far along the story is itself.

Re: Remember: An ABR flashback
13/12/2007?
Someone's been watching too much- Crap. I forgot what show did something like that.
On the sixteenth second, of the sixteenth minute, of the sixteenth hour, of the sixteenth day, of the sixteenth month, of the sixteenth year.

Re: Remember: An ABR flashback
Or we could keep in mind that I'm British
Meaning it's Day/Month/Year (The logical way), as opposed to Month/Day/Year (The American way). I think the same thing came up with Banjo's Whitefeather updates
EDIT: Okay, I've just been bored and started crunching some numbers:
Assuming I stick to my goal of 72 story-relevant pages per book (Of 100 overall, though I'll only be publishing the story pages here), and that I go with the 5 books I have listed at the moment, it'll be a total of 360 story pages.
With a 2/week output schedule, that'll take me 180 weeks or roughly 3-1/2 years to get through, or 36 weeks per book.
I welcome the challenge
I've also given the first post a major overhaulLast edited by Lyinginbedmon; 2007-12-12 at 09:12 AM.

Re: Remember: An ABR flashback
Page 18, with the obligatory looting scene, and by now you probably can guess who's going to be meeting their end soon
Spoiler
Those keeping an eye on the twitter on page 1 will probably notice that it says "#21", rather than "#19". That's because I'm presently working on getting as many comics put together as I can (I'm aiming for comics 19-24) so that I have as little work to do over the upcoming holidays as possible. This also means there'll be a zero percent chance of me updating late
Inside the various sections for the future books, you'll also find (In most cases) a corresponding banner for the book, which may offer some tantalising sneak peeks at who may be showing up.
Lastly, it's worth noting that this is a story that, to the best of my knowledge, is rivalled only by Stick itself in terms of scale on this site. This storyline, assuming I don't miss an update or anything goes hideously wrong, is set to end on the 9th of December, 2010.
Yes, I am serious about doing every last strip, right up to and into my University days.

Re: Remember: An ABR flashback
Okay, I'm done modifying my character models to include my recently-improved female template, and I've added the coding and image for all the banners into their respective sections in the first post (Including a new banner for Book 5 )

Re: Remember: An ABR flashback
Is there a reason every single silly mess-up have my char on it? I'll get an in-plot revenge (using one of mechafox's inventions non the less!) on you. (tip-new type of goblins. seen before yet not given their goblin name. if you figure don't ruin it, its too darn funny.)
I can afford having only 6 wisdom. I got 85 charisma to get me out of problems. (will be explained soon in plot. the usual solution to everything I do that cannot be done.)
Anyway, nice some far, keep it up.
Also-you might note I am not related to Grisgol or Erenatl. whatever these are.Last edited by boomwolf; 2007-12-14 at 06:46 PM.

Re: Remember: An ABR flashback
I was intending for them to be guitar riffs, obviously I need to work on that joke before I try it again. If I ever get time, I'll see if I can remaster it.
At the moment, the Fall of Arcania story arc is set to end on the 8th next month. After that, there's going to be a good few new characters showing up, so if anyone wants to make a guest appearance, be sure to say so!
So far Nameless appears (With face!) in page 24 whilst Squark & Illel will make a brief appearance in page 21.Last edited by Lyinginbedmon; 2007-12-15 at 02:28 PM.

Don't know whats going on in your plans. but don't show me unless you got some timeshift. I was not yet alive at the time. (but my sword was. feel free to put her in, in both forms.)
BTW: her alt form is now uploaded into the ABR talking forum.Last edited by boomwolf; 2007-12-16 at 09:44 AM.

Re: Remember: An ABR flashback
Well, perhaps a simulacrum would suffice. For example, a Gnomish Boomwolf
