Re: TARDIS II: Hunt for the Doctor (Structured)
Do we vote for these roles publically (in thread) or privately (via PM)?

Re: TARDIS II: Hunt for the Doctor (Structured)
Meepo looks up at the comet.
"Oooo shiny! Just like tennis ball! Meepo want to go!"
Meepo volunteers for Gunner, points at Freshmeat for Pilot, and Ramebriz for Infantry.
"Will be fun! You all go together with Meepo!"Last edited by banjo1985; 2007-11-22 at 04:39 AM.

Pwenet looks up at the comet, pulls out a camera and takes a picture of it.
"Neato."
Seeing that Meepo is already volunteering people, Pwenet nominates the following:- Gunner - banjo1985 (Meepo)
- Pilot - Freshmeat
- Infantry - Ramebriz

Re: TARDIS II: Hunt for the Doctor (Structured)
"Say, let me see that...." Korith grabs a flier
"Infantry, you say? I'll take you up on that. And I do believe my friend Meepo here looks like quite the gunner. Now, pilot. Hmm...Onasuma, are you up for that?"
Infantry -> Korith
Gunner -> Meepo
Pilot -> OnasumaThis is a boring signature.

Re: TARDIS II: Hunt for the Doctor (Structured)
Gunner -> Meepo (he's the only one who has volunteered for this position so far)
Pilot -> Freshmeat (because I definitely want to go along, and people seem to want me to pilot the ship, so I shall)
Infantry -> Korith (might be changed to Ramebriz, but he hasn't expressed a desire to come along, whereas Korith has)Spoiler

Fin blinks dumbly at the space in his hands where the flyer used to be before Korith took it, realising its gone and people are already sorting out roles he decide his opinion is needed.
'Meepo good luck little dude, if you want to be the gunner i wish you all the best! Of course you should pilot Freshmeat you were born for the job, and Korith is exactly what people look for in an infantryman!'

The man in the multi-colored scarf looks at the three brave ones who have already volunteered...
Wonderful! The bravery on jumping headlong into the unknown! I applaud you sirs, and cast my ballot for your safe return!
Gunner- Meepo
Pilot- Freshmeat
Infantry- Korith
((As this doesn't feel like a point to me, I'm not going to put it in red. Good luck to those who volunteered!!!))

Re: TARDIS II: Hunt for the Doctor (Structured)
Raven shrugs. I'll go with the crowd today. They all seem to want the job. I'm concerned about our watch holder taking a risk like that, though.
Gunner == Goblin music. (Cuz he can take the risk)
Pilot == Freshmeat
Infantry == Korith

Re: TARDIS II: Hunt for the Doctor (Structured)
(Now might be just as good a moment as any to mention this.
1. Korias, can you add the rules to the first post of this thread? It's kind of annoying having to check back with the recruitment thread to find out about certain details/roles/etc.
2. Also, what was North's role?
Thanks in advance.)Spoiler

Re: TARDIS II: Hunt for the Doctor (Structured)
Actually it may be to dangerousss for Meepo to vulenteer for this mission. If it is dangerous, we would not want to risssk losing his powerful gift. Inssstead I shall volunteer for gunner and vote Korith for infantry.
Still for voting Freshmeat for pilot

I have not abandoned this game, but there will be a slight reprive. Family disconnected Internet access to install hardwood floors, so very little Access. There will be an update tonight, however.

Re: TARDIS II: Hunt for the Doctor (Structured)
End of Day 3
Meepo-Gunner
Pilot-Freshmeat
Korith-Infantry.
As the Group "Volunteers" Meepo, Freshmeat, and Korith to go fight, An alarm blares from deep within the city. The soldier before you puts his hand to his ear, as if listening in to something.
There here! You three, lets go! He shouts, and runs off, with the three "volunteers" in tow.
Winding through the city streets, people are in all states of panic: Some pray, others cry, some have even broke out into fights to see who gets the last spot in the shelter. As the three TARDIS-goers reach the center of the city, they stand infront of a gleaming structure, its structure faintly gothic in nature, but modern in design. As the soldier directs the three into the building, they split up to get to their stations.
The rest of you look skyward towards the gleaming blue commet streaking down towards the surface. Some of you rush back into the TARDIS, whilst others are frozen to the pavement with fear.
Meepo the Gunner
Meepo, following the pathway to the Roof Cannons, follows a line of soldiers rushing towards a series of large cannons. Each man hops into a chair behind them, and begins aiming towards the behemoth of a ship. Meepo hops into one, clutching his pocket-watch. As he familiarizes himself with the controls, somebody shouts from behind him.
Incoming Fire!
Looking up, the small kobold finds that there are multiple shots heading his way. Desperately looking at the control pannel, looking for the "Fire Back" button, he accidentealy bumps the joystick mechanism, causing the gun to swerve wildly and unload its own ammunition, the rounds firing at random directions. Some hit the ship, some dont. But when the hail of enemy fire comes down, An explosion is heared. Looking down, he realizes that his cannon is no longer being supported by the roof, and it slowly starts to plummet downwards into the unforgiving earth.
As it smashes into the ground, Meepo dangles from a support beam, watching the cannon get crushed into the solid ground. Hopping down to the next beam, he slowly makes his way down, avoiding enemy cannon blasts. Eventually, his feat touch the ground, and he makes a full on sprint away from the base. All the while, the Pocketwatch hangs around his neck, its chain wrapped twice around the kobold's head.
Freshmeat the Pilot
Freshmeat, heading down into the Docking Platforms, hops into one of the ships. The controls are familiar: Joystick to move, pedals to steer. Soon out of the gates, he flies up to meet the giant comet-ship hurtling downards to destroy the city below. Unfortunately, Flying near upside down doesn't do wonders for one's stomach. He vomits, propelling his ship to the sideways. The bile soaks into the control pannel, and the Auto-Pilot takes over.
And Auto-Pilot's Mission is get as quickly away as possible.
Korith the Infrantryman
Korith, however, has to contend with getting in the Rank and File structure of the Furyan army. Grasping a rifle, he heads out into the streets, following a squad of much more heavily armored men. Rushing through the crowds, he makes his way to a building where he has a good spot. Aiming his rifle at the comet, he sees something else that catches his attention: More Comet-ships. Sensing that the Furyans are outnumbered, and the fact that his squad has disappeared, he rushes out of the building and down into the streets below. Seeing his comapnion, Meepo, he runs by and grabs the little furry critter under his arm and keeps running. Seeing the TARDIS, he sighs in relief as the doors open, and he drops to the ground, panting.
Anybody seen Freshmeat? He asks, exhausted.
He's not here.... Says Cult_Of_The_Raven.
But the TARDIS Says he's alive! Look!
True enough, a TV Screen shows the different Traveler's status: And Freshmeat is still alive.
Were gonna have to find him. But we have to get off this planet first. says Emerald Rose.
- Nobody Died!
- Freshmeat was taken severely offcourse by Auto-Pilot. He is immune to points, but cannot point. This effect will end starting next day phase
- Tonight, the Doctor will be revealed.
Night 3 BEGINS. People with PMs, send them in!
