    Sonny

Sonny brushed his hand against the arch. His high-pitched voice is pitched somewhat lower, as though he is afraid something might overhear. "Worked stone. Strange, hidden passageway. This normal for Sigil brothels? This starting to seem like worse and worse idea to Sonny." he complained, looking nervous.

Connor has daylight at will. He'll pick up a piece of loose stone, cast daylight on it and chuck it down the hallway.

Just FYI, it's at the edges of my darkvision, which is double that of yours, so you don't actually see it just by standing there...

    Gryfe

Gryfe slowly advances through the arch, staying alert, as he peers beyond... attempting to locate the sound of the voices coming from the end of the hallway.

(I'm assuming that Connor threw the stone with light on it before Feng tried to jump across the hallway, creating illumination down the hall, enough for those with darkvision to see the arch....)

Feng makes a running leap down the hallway, he falls quite short, and lands hard on the ground, grunting in pain. As he starts to get up, there's a quiet, but very audible click sound, and the stones beneath him fall away.

Even his uncanny barbarian reflexes aren't fast enough for Feng to roll away, and he falls down a deep pit. Feng takes 15 points of bludegeoning damage from the fall. At the bottom of the pit are several large, sharp spikes. One of the spikes hits Feng's breastplate hard enough to leave a dent in it, but Feng falls off to the side of the spike, unharmed.

The rest of the party can hear a loud ringing sound from up ahead. The pit is nearly one-hundered feet across, with only a very small ledge around the sides of the hallway.

    Sonny

Sonny followed along after Korral, more sedately. He looked at the span of empty space, annoyed. He hadn't renewed his spell of Dark Way that morning, anticipating the need for more martial spells, and was now metaphorically kicking himself for it. He didn't have any way of bridging the gap or of fishing their barbarian out of the pit.

He peered over the edge, before turning back towards the rest of the party. "Well, Sonny is stumped. Suggestions?"
