Everyone, save for Graeme and the boy, is enmeshed in the overlapping strands of the arachnid projectiles. Hot on the heels of the web onslaught, the spiders charge in, two of them taking projectiles in the thorax, but continuing to advance. They leap and strike, each to a different entangled target.

Lucas is hit for six points of damage, Heinrich is hit for four, Tiersias is hit for six points, and Gislana's armour manages to save her. One of the spiders takes a savage swing from Graeme's Claymore, and falters in his charge, turning to engage the more active threat, while emitting a keening wail to its compatriots.

Oh, Comrade, could you please help us get out of the web? We'll fare better against the spiders if the whole group can engage them, as much as I'd like to make sure they're not going to munch someone, he says, as he struggles to free himself.

Such is the life of someone who is either under a permanent misfortune power or disaster prone. How the heck am I supposed to light a torch if I can only struggle against this webbing? Just a few lousy accidents and they get all nervous. But oh well. I guess that I just have to do a good job now and I will be back on a good respect level with them, Ty mutters as he slowly frees himself from the webbing. Once he has freed himself, he proceeds to walk to the hole, takes a torch out of his backpack, and proceeds to wait for the others, ready to go down first as soon as they are ready to go.
