AMEN XVIII: Idiocracy

Exachix falls back asleep as her player is going out.

• A long list of rooms with various devices in them

It goes on like this for a long time.

Saurous opens his mouth to say something, but is interrupted as SP says:

"Start at the infinite energy generators."

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok glances at the singing and dancing frog, and then wanders off to go have his head examined.

Anyone who wants to come is teleported to a room with banks of controls lining both walls. The generators are visible through windows. On the left, there's a cat with a piece of buttered toast strapped to its back attached to a metal rod, spinning at high speeds. On the right, Redshirts and Stormtroopers can be seen fighting.

Raistlin sighs as he looks at Cassie, the freaky frog of the future.

*Sigh* Mass Break Enchantment.

He restores Cassie to her original form.

[AmberVael]

An force only known as THOI (The hell of it) casts Mass Break Break Enchantment to counter Mass Break Enchantment.
The Dancing Man's top hat flees from the scene.

[Saurous]

Anyone who wants to come is teleported to a room with banks of controls lining both walls. The generators are visible through windows. On the left, there's a cat with a piece of buttered toast strapped to its back attached to a metal rod, spinning at high speeds. On the right, Redshirts and Stormtroopers can be seen fighting.

A split second before teleporting, Saurous waves a hand and creates a duplicate of himself to deal with anything that may happen topside.

Down in the generator...place, Saurous stares out at the generators for a moment, staring questioningly at the cat.

[PirateMonk]

"Vespe made them."

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok glances at the cat, redshirts and stormtroopers.

Our power is based off Uncyclopedia's thingy?

[PirateMonk]

"Once again, Vespe made them."

[Raistlin1040]

John appears next the the dancing man, and takes him aside.

Alright Dancing Man, before you try anything, I'm a player, so you can't touch me. I'm immune to any of your powers, so don't even try. I understand you are a creature of chaos, but sometimes you need to just go with the flow, live and let die you know? So when when one of the other characters is trying to do something for a reason, in this case, Raistlin's crush on Castaras, then don't interfere. If you feel an urge to mess stuff up you can't fight, go pick on Magtok. We all hate him anyway.

John then goes to play Rock Band, and Raistlin retries his spell.

[Saurous]

"Vespe made them."

"That explains so much."

The necromancer then watches the Stormtroopers and redshirts fight for a moment.

"The ridiculousness of this one room is starting to get to me. Shall we continue on to our next destination? One that makes a bit more sense?"

[AmberVael]

John gets a paper airplane thrown at him for his trouble.

[PirateMonk]

"Sure." PM walks to the door.

((Anyone who feels like can run an encounter whenever.))

[Raistlin1040]

The paper airplane hits the player shield and bounces off. Meanwhile, John is singing and drumming to Octopus's Garden.

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok pauses for a moment.

Wait...people hate me? I thought I was just the AMEN version of South Park's Kenny. I didn't think anyone actually despised me!

He then vanishes for now. His player has stuff to do.

((Parents... ))

Curly seemingly hears the bleat seemingly coming from the main room. Seeing the train she stares for a bit before trying to leap through one of the windows.

[Raistlin1040]

It's an affectionate hatred. Like we enjoy you dying, and enjoy it when you suffer, but we also respect your conversation and opinions. Besides, your clones make it fun to kill you, because you'll bounce right back.

"So where to from here?"

Curly manages to leap through the window and land into a giant leather couch which was on one side of the train for apparently no reason.
Other than the couch, it looks like a normal, public mag-lev train.

Meanwhile, the paper airplane explodes and turns into an origami kazoo band, which starts playing loudly and obnoxiously.

[Saurous]

"That I do," either Saurous or his duplicate (whichever one John is closest to) says.

Player shield, block unnecessary sound.

John can no longer hear the kazoo band.

Curly sits on the sofa and listens for some bleating. Should she hear any she will walk in the direction of the bleat.

[PirateMonk]

PM presses some buttons on a keypad near the door, then opens it. The hallway is in bad condition, with many of the lights failing and scorch marks on the walls.

[Saurous]

Saurous inspects the hallway, smirking.

"This place is depressing and dank. It's rather nice."

[AmberVael]

The kazoo band is instantly slain by the sound of John singing Beatles' songs.

The bleating is coming from Curly's right, which leads towards the back of the train.
From her left comes the sound of the Dancing Man cackling for no real reason.

John changes the song.

[PirateMonk]

Leaning up against one wall is a badly burned corpse. PM ignores it and keeps walking.

[CurlyKitGirl]

Curly walks towards the bleating. "Where's this train going?" she says to noone in particular.

[Saurous]

Saurous continues following PM, coming to a stop when they pass the corpse.

"PM, wait a moment."

He investigates the corpse closer, mostly trying to figure out what it was before death.
