AMEN XVIII: Idiocracy

Gasp! A grand piano! His only weakness!
Well, except not. His only weakness was something else.
The Dancing Man gets puzzled and attempts to remember what that weakness was when the piano falls on him and he very comically squishes into a pancake.

The dungeon crawlers disappear in a flash of white light, finding themselves in a tunnel.

"What happened to not trusting our teleporters?"

John debates whether to play Hey Jude outside of Raistlin's room.

I probably shouldn't...but it'd be awesome.

[The Bushranger]

Everything I say is a lie. I am lying. Bushranger snickers. But seriously folks...

He collects a small ectoblast in his hand to act as a light. When there's no alternative, you take what you have.

[Castaras]

"Ribbit, ribbity ribbit."

Cassius hops back into his room, trying to open one of his spellbooks, slowly turning over the pages with his head.

[Free Hand]

"The one that rolli-polli pig sent to recruit scabs. We've had enough of his crap, no benefits, no job security and no health plan, the prick hardly even pays us! we're on strike until things change, so he sends out some guys to bring in scabs to do our work until we give in, well thats not going to happen!"

The elf looks at him suspiciously.

"Did he hire you?"

Raistlin is gone, so Aeon answers.

No, he didn't hire my dad. He hired a clone of his though.

A scream is heard from Raistlin's room, and Empathy walks out. It walks over to Castaras' room.

Hi there! Need some help?

[Castaras]

"Ribbit...ribbit...Ribbit!"

The frog is surrounded by a magical aura, before turning to Empathy.

"I can talk now, at least. Otherwise, I'm fine for the moment. I'll just wait out the Dancing Man's effects...Don't think any of my potions would cure it."

[Saurous]

Saurous looks down the tunnel, his low-light vision kicking in.

"Homey. Now then, lets continue and see what kind of dragon this 'Narrowclaw' is."

[AmberVael]

The Dancing Man pancake eventually unflattens itself, colors the piano, and hangs it from the ceiling.
He pats the mysterious gray tube and then leaps back into his train.

[The Bushranger]

After you, Fearless Leader.

I see. You want to just wait it out, or I could use something Raistlin made to assist you. It speeds up time, up to a day. You can use it and it'll be like a day passed, in no time at all!

[PirateMonk]

"We follow the loud breathing, I suppose." PM walks off.

The awesome fairy taps the Dancing Man on the head.

He got squishered, too.

"Well he'd better not think of heading north or he'll find himself short a few fingers and toes."

The elves dash out the same way the robed man went.

Cat positions himself behind and slightly to the side of the first two people in the group.

The Dancing Man moves to the back of his train and leaps into the pile of packaging peanuts from before.

OK, the Dancing Man's new nickname is Chef Brian. He has achieved that level of randomness.

[Castaras]

"And how am I supposed to trust him? Or you, for that matter. I don't trust anyone who comes from AMEN."

[Saurous]

Saurous follows behind PM, idly pulling his serrated knife from his pocket.

The relation between the two bounces off of the Dancing Man. Chef Brian has no class and is in a dorky webcomic.

Well I'm Empathy! I'm the closest thing to Happiness for him! And you can trust him because he likes you!

Empathy says this as if it was the most natural thing ever. If Raistlin was here, Empathy would find himself without a head. But he's in his room.

[The Bushranger]

Main base:

A presence hovers near the ceiling, listening.

The awesome fairy taps the Dancing Man again, and curls back up in his hat, which is now his home.

The Dancing Man takes off his hat and stares at the fairy.

[Castaras]

Cassius the frog raises an eyebrow.

"Meh. How do I know that you're not lying? I knew he had a crush on me. I still don't get how so many AMENites got a crush on an average Cha character. But eh."

He turns back to his spellbook, fading away into dead time once again.

Because I can't lie! You can't lie to your feelings, and feelings don't lie to you.

Stealth appears in the room.

It probably has something to do with those love potions. Didn't you hit Vespe and someone else with them?

[The Bushranger]

Main base:

The presence near the ceiling drifts down, places a Wand of Gender Inversion on the floor with its business end pointing at the deadtimed frog and keyed to the activation word "Ribbit", and then dissassociates.
