    Tell

Tell stays for a while, continuing to work on his ale. He only sips it every now and then, taking a long time to drain the beverage.

He has, however, completely devoured his food--and even cleaned the bowl/plate with his finger, licking off the last of the good stuff.

Kajiki will excuse himself a little later and go up to his room and get some shut eye if nothing disturbes him, using his backpack as a pillow out of simple habit and a little healthy paranoia.

    Tell

Tell sits about a half hour after the others leave. When his ale is at last finished, he stands and heads out into the cool night air ((assuming it is dark out)).

He walks about the town, strolling down a few streets he hasn't seen yet, and meanders for another forty minutes at least.

Once he is finished stretching his legs he heads toward the Temple of Ehlonna.

Unless something waylays him during his stroll, he will look around the front yard of the temple for a nice place to sleep--somewhere not soggy, not rocky, and not infested with too many bugs. And, of course, somewhere with a few shrubs upwind of it. He doesn't want to shiver all night, nor does he particularly want to be disturbed.

    Tell

((Thanks for the clarification. I kind of figured Tell would be woken earlier than the others would get up.))

"Thank you, Protectress. I'll come inside soon." Tell slowly goes about the process of gathering up his belongings. He shakes his blanket out and feels it in several places to see how damp it has become from the dew. He hangs it in an out-of-the-way place, perhaps on the temple fence or the branch of a small tree.

Then he gathers his other things, checking his shield over for damage and making sure his chain doesn't need oiling. For now, he leaves his war-coat (i.e. armour) with his blanket.

Once he is sure the protectress has gone inside, he strolls leisurely to the yard of the Temple of St. Cuthbert next door. His intention is to hide in a bush, shrub, or hedge without being noticed by anyone.

    Taking 20 on Hide: 23

He scoops a small hole in the ground under the shrub and does his morning business. "May this offering go back to the elements and fertilise this sacred land," he prays silently.

When he is done he fills in the hole, rubs pine needles between his hands and heads back to the Temple of Ehlonna. He picks up his armour, leaves his blanket, and heads inside for his morning meditation.

((Sorry guys, given the priestess' feelings toward her neighbour I couldn't resist.))

    3) The priestess is nice to me and I continue to make an, er, impression on her.
    4) I get out of the temple unmolested, and my blanket is where I left it.))

When Tell is done with his meditation practice he thanks the protectress and heads outside. He checks his blanket and rolls it up, satisfied with its dryness. He strolls through town, picking whatever edible plants he spies and popping them in his mouth.

When he reaches the inn he walks over to Megiddo and Kajiki. Without a word, he squats down against a wall in the shade. He remains there, waiting to see what happens next.
