Re: The world's largest dungeon
It is a dark room, silent, no enemies, with another open door directly across the room.

OK done here.
Lazarus moves to cover Drah'ble with his longspear and waits for him or Argal to move through the already open door into the next room (presumably the door continues North).

Re: The world's largest dungeon
The door leads to another room, similar to the one you were in. A opened door is across the room.

SpoilerYeah I didn't say the door was closed did I? If the door had been closed I'd have listened at the door and waited for Todd to search for traps and then said I was opening it.
In fact I specifically said in that post that the door was open:
Since the next door is open....
I mean if there's a pit in the floor I don't want to walk into it for example. If there's a monster making noise I'd like to hear it before I walk in if possible.
So if I need new rolls for the next room while I'm standing at the door before going in there they are:

big OOC comment
Spoiler
We've explored exits A,B and C. We're currently to the North of D.
last 'big" map:
Spoiler
It is not showing four or five rooms we've explored. One to the NE of B, one down the "C" corridor and two or three room North of D. Well Two rooms North of D is where we are, and then there's an open door we'd be able to see what was next.
Here's the link to the OOC thread again.
So basically we're in a room with only two doors, the one we came through and the one we're going to go through next. Both open. By the way... with all these traps on closed doors I think it would be good if Todd searched for traps AND Tolsimir opened the door from 10' away. Although that last trap was designed to hit people in the corridor even 10-20 feet from the door that activated it. Two trapped doors in the set of rooms to the North of A and B which might be the first rooms entered by a 1st level party so they were high damage traps. Pretty deadly for a level 1 party so I think we need to get serious about traps. This is what the characters Lazarus and Todd have been saying IC.
By the way.... why don't you subscribe to the threads you are playing in? Then you'll know as soon as anyone posts to a thread you had thought was "dead".

Tolsimir
Tolsimir suddenly surrges, as though as he jest woke up from a deep slumber and says "My mind went off, what did I miss?" after a quick look he adds "Seems like not much, lets move on, I want to get out of here today people."

So go in there and kill it.
Wait! Go in there and then run out as soon as it throws darkness at you.
SpoilerI think bayar's waiting for someone to say they enter the room although I wish he'd update the map to make things a little clearer. We are currently about to enter the third room North of "D".
Also bayar posted something in the OOC:
Link to OOC.
I know i know...just that I dunno, you are in the second room and going in the third? if so, you hear some flapping souns.
North of door "D" we entered an empty room. It had one exit. We went through it and entered another empty room. It also had one exit. We are about to go through that door to the third room when we hear a flapping noise. Lazarus then tried listening and Spotting again and got better scores but bayar hasn't given any further response.
So.
I suggest the next fighter type guy to post (especially Drah'ble or Argal), just say you're going in.
