Having no clue what the orcs mean, Garret observes Argal opening the door and waits to see what becomes of him.

Ooc; I don't think "opens the door and walks through" counts as godmodding since you can say "as you attempt to open the door, you find it looked/trapped"



If he said "I summon up 50 of my orc and balor friends to smash down the door and kill anything that they see easily" then maybe

You see an open doorway to your left. The body of an orc, his arm outstretched toward the door you have just come from, lies slumped near the middle of this room. A lone spear, it's shaft broken lays in one of the corner.

Argal looks around the room not really knowing what to make of the dead orc in front of him.
Curiosity gets the better of Argal and he steps forward to search the orc.

Noting the dead orc behind door 3, Todd turns to Dribble. "I'm going to check the other room," he says. "I'll holler if there's any trouble."

With that, the sorcerer turns the knob and looks in.

Searching the orc's corpse, Argal finds several holes in his neck, arm and leg.Each hole also has up yo eight smaller, rough punctures near it.No notable possesions...

The heavy smell of stale air greets Todd as he opens the door to a large room. Bits of dried grass as well as larger hunks lay all over the floor, as if a tornado recently tore through a meadow.

The orcs have simply given up and appear to be waiting for the inevitable.

OOC: I believe that, from the spoiler the orcs have given up on life and are just waiting to die. So any threats to kill/injure them are wasted because they feel they're going to die anyway.

Garret looks at the orc's corpse a little more carefully than his dimwitted bodyguard. Why is his hand outstretched to the door? Could he have been trying to escape something?

Argal, something tells me that the next room has some ghastly creature waiting to kill us all. If you want to head in there, I'll back you up, but don't say I didn't warn you when some beast starts gnawing on your face.

With that, Garret draws his crossbow and loads it, preparing for trouble.

@seeker in the night, I was attacking whatever might be behind the door I thought was closed! And I know I didnt get a crit but If you ready a halberd against a charge you get double damage!

As he enters the room, Argal can see an open door on the opposite wall that appears to be the only other way in or out of this otherwise empty room.
But in a moments notice, the whole room is engulfed in a darkness spell.No one knows what happened exactly, but it appears that Argal is being attacked by something.

I push one of the orcs to the ground in spite and then follow the sounds of battle, swapping out for my Longsword and Kurki.
