You know, I could have done some thing lame like, "The second season of Haruhi canceled!" and then corrected it in the message, since that's more or less what they did to us on the official site, but, whatever.

Maybe it's because Disappearance was my favorite novel, but goddamn that was hilarious. Yay for it being the next big plot too!

Does anyone have a translation for the text on the chat program or the image? I can fake understanding spoken Japanese, but written is way the hell beyond me.

The first part of the poster is translated on moetron, and the second half seems to be listing who is going to be working on it. Director, assistant director, that sort of thing.

As for the Yuki-chat, here's a transcription:

I think we discussed it in the big Sauron thread that seems to have fallen by the wayside. I think the consensus was that movie Sauron would have a chance due to the medium being cool enough to engage her attention. The books, however, move so slow he'd probably be replaced by aliens or something almost immediately.
