What's wrong with spells that are "kill it violently"? Taking it alive isn't any kind of priority; getting answers out of it isn't likely to be easy anyway. Killing it violently is kind of the mission. You want that scroll?

Sharra casts the Telepathic Bond, then a Greater Magic Weapon on Artemus and Naomi's pointy-things-on-sticks. Then she proceeds to sacrifice Assay Resistance for Detect Scrying.
(On top of her usual post-spell-preparation suite of buffs, which are listed on the sheet as usual.)

Tiatiae tosses and turns for a while before falling into a sound sleep. When she awakens, she feels as though she had bad dreams, but she cannot remember any details. She is a bit longer in her prayers that morning, taking comfort from The Lady for that which is ahead. By the time she comes downstairs with all her things, there is no sign of any troubles the previous night.

"Good morning," she says with a smile as she joins the others."

Neither my spear or my longsword are +5, but I bought a few potions of greater magic weapon +5, plus I can enhance my spear with a class feature and the investment of essentia. I'm good as far as enhancement goes.

Aedras leaves with the rest of the group, but instead of heading for sleep, he went about the city, wandering the streets and taking in the sights simply for his own amusement. Late into the night he eventually settles down, meditating for a few hours, then returning to the streets refreshed. He meets up with his fellow "demon slayers" from the previous day, clapping his hands together "so, are we ready to rid this world of a foul evil for good this time?"

"It looks like we're about set, yes. Okay, gather 'round; lay a hand on me."
Once everyone is in contact, Sharra raises a hand and turns one of her spells into Teleport: her belt flares, a circle of light emanating outwards, and a pillar of fire pours forth from the air above her, enveloping the group. Once it fades, they are gone.


(Once everyone's set, dropping Split Ray of Dizziness for Teleport, and Teleporting to a spot of ground a little ways away from the place Sharra's divination located.)

The kobold casts a simple cantrip, then turns his gaze around in a circle. He points toward the location described by Sharra. "Thats the place, right? Lets go." He takes both of Lithana's blades in his hands and imbues them with magical power.

Lithana scouts about abit, but otherwise remains within five feet of her tiny charge at all times. "So we're off to hunt a half-demon thing? Do you lot do this sort of thing all the time?"

Neither of them actually move anywhere from their position post-teleport.

OOC: And then I followed it up without mentioning Kelborn moving and Lithana staying five feet away from him at all times.. Amazing how these things work, ain't it? Scouting can involve just standing, looking, and listening.

OOC: Saying one being remains near the other does not indicate non-movement. 'Let's go' indicates the wish to indulge in locomotion. Everything indicated that the 'other' was moving and so its companion, remaining by it, would move as well.

IC: You all find yourselves high atop a mountain range, far above the treeline. The area on which you stand is flat enough as to not give you any problems, although a strong wind blows that threatens to knock you off balance if you are not careful. (See PMs for more information.)

What does Find the Path tell Sharra? She follows its trail, taking 10 on stealth and search rolls, indicating that the rest of the group should stay a ways behind her. She uses telepathic contact to inform the party of her location despite her sneakiness.

"Illusion, hm? Let me take a look" Sharra communicates over the telepathic bond.

You walk down the tunnel for about five minutes, before finally coming to a set of dingy, dust covered stairs that lead downwards. The dust and animal droppings that cover it speak of long disuse. Twenty feet down the stairs, they turn a sharp right.

Assuming Find the Path is leading her down the stairs, Sharra continues to scout ahead, turning the corner, still hidden and still searching (65 Hide, 59 Move Silently, 41 Search).
