Intrigued by a group containing a necromancer and a paladin, Bran makes up his mind to follow them at a distance.

Well, even if the quest is a bust, the eventual fight between the necromancer and the paladin might be song worthy.

Waiting until they all leave, Bran stands, and moves towards the door.

Following them through some light woods, Bran does his best not to be seen or heard.

"I will not arrest you for two reasons. The first- We will soon be working together. The second- In fact, I care little whether you practice necromancy. Whatever my god may believe, Necromancy can be used for good or evil, as can any skill. I will not arrest you for it while you stick to the former. What I take issue with is your lack of respect. You began attempting to insult and belittle me as soon as we met, with no provocation. I will not suffer to be constantly insulted. Contain your bias, or remove yourself from my company." Ari says sternly, then closes his visor and walks out of the tavern to join the others.

"Coming with us, then?" Dest says as he notes the movement and sound of snapping twigs beneath the feet of a humanoid figure, walking through the forest. "Welcome aboard."

When the party, now assembled, reaches the Cairn, Dest takes a look in each direction. "Though I make no claim to leadership, I'd like to cast a vote against approaching the snarling wolves just yet."

Inniel gestures toward the skeleton and blanket.Well, finding that blanket was the reason I came, but I think retrieving it can wait until we've taken care of the wolf issue.Inniel takes a defensive stance and draws a steel pick from a strap on his side.

    Inniel draws his heavy pick.

Irritated by the fact he had been seen, Bran answers Dest.

"Yes" Bran sighs, "I'm coming along for the ride..." he says in a somewhat disappointed tone.

This would have made for a much better song if I had been able to come to the rescue...

As they continue walking, Bran stays quiet, trying to make mental notes of each person's personality so he might portray them right in his lyrics.

Coming to the cave, and seeing the wolves...

"Hrmm...a cave guarded by wolves...that just won't do. It needs something scarier, like giants or a dragon..."

    Bran thinks to himself...

Although I'm glad it's not either of those things...

Seeing the wolves, Dest moves to Ari's aid, taking a series of careful, though seemingly haphazard steps up to the wolves, ending his bizarre approach with a stab from his elven rapier, striking at the wolf from the side while it preoccupied itself with his more heavily armoured companion.
