A Turducken is a dish consisting of a partially de-boned turkey stuffed with a de-boned duck, which itself is stuffed with a small de-boned chicken. The name is a portmanteau of those ingredients: turkey, duck, and chicken. The cavity of the chicken and the rest of the gaps are filled with, at the very least, a highly seasoned breadcrumb mixture or sausage meat, although some versions have a different stuffing for each bird. Some recipes call for the turkey to be stuffed with a chicken which is then stuffed with a duckling. It is also called a chuckey.

The result is a relatively solid, albeit layered, piece of poultry, suitable for cooking by braising, roasting, grilling, or barbecuing. The turducken is not suitable for deep frying Cajun style (to deep fry poultry, the body cavity must be hollow to cook evenly).

Yeah, we just had turkey. And we had breadcrumb stuffing, with cranberries, onions, and apple in it too, but we bake it in a loafpan because my mom and I like it crispy. *yums*

Thanks Roguey for filling 'em in. The one we had was a Tony Chachere's Tur-Duc-Hen, which means it was stuffed with a spicy creole seafood and rice blend. Yummy!

Ah, the infamous Turducken. I remember the good ol' days when John Madden was still with Fox, and would call the Thanksgiving day game. He always had a Turducken on the sidelines, and gave a drumstick to the MVP of each team for the game.

We had bacon and eggs for Christmas brunch Ham and the rest of the prawns were meant to be for dinner, but the prawns were starting to smell funny The highlights of my Christmas lewt were an Escher book and a Dr Who DVD. Oh, and an Indonesian-English dictionary from my cousin that I think he just grabbed off his shelf (he's been living in Bali, and I'd mentioned that I did Bahasa Indonesia in high school).
Making my way south, to South West Rocks, now... Brief pause at my mum's in Sawtell. Hopefully SWR isn't too dreadful, but I'll only be there for a couple of days.

i recommend buying deodorant, mouthwash, toothpaste, windshield wiper blades and soap from wal mart. that isn't a shot at your hygiene or anything, those just happen to be the last things i purchased from walmart.
