Vote Uncle Festy for Necromancy in the Playground!
Anyhoo, I actually posted for a reason. In the last panel of the latest comic, the vampire is higher up then she was. Did she go back? Up? Mistake?

You will not hijack threads to save your dying campaigns. With that out of the way, I have a bit of a confession: I didn't realize the tiefling was female until this last update. I think it's the cliche of bounty hunters having longer hair, or something.

Or the cliche that male elves with long hair are mistaken for females...

She jumped, actually. I tried to add some lines to indicate that, but they looked awkward with the other ones sweeping across, so I scrapped them.

And yes, the tiefling is female. Her cloak made things harder to see, but I'll make it as clear as possible in the next few strips.

Also, I though it was easy to tell Lana was jumping, so no worries there.

It has ever been my wish to meet "that sort of girl".

But enough of my seemingly-irrelevant tangent. Where did you leave the dr- *ahem*

Hmm. I have one question. If your eyes are red (Must be a bonus from Undeath), then is the world you see tinted/coloured red? I mean, they have no pupils (Or noses, either), so logically they shouldn't be able to see at all...

But I digress. Zarah, thanks for the comic update (And the updated comic).

not on certain sites, and that's what donation buttons are for. Or merchandising. I would buy a T-shirt based on this comic.

Not meaning to sound pushy...I just think this is a great comic. It stands up on it's own.

Uuuh. Why did the dragon woman make a plan to split them up to gain tactical supiriority....but then GAVE THE VAMPIRE A WEAPON, whilst fighting her ONE ON ONE while the other two adventurers almost do nothing at all?

Edit: Kinda acting more like an extremely confused/illogical paladin, than a bounty hunter.

Guess she should stop touching herself then. Baddum-tshi.

Anyways think this comic has potential. But I think the author should make the situations abit more plausible. Yes I know it is a comedy, but logic will make it more beliveble and because of that funnier. :) This also goes for other situations than the one I mentioned, but im not gonna go pick your comic apart.

One, given that this is a comic where the necromancer successfully summoned Michael Jackson a few strips back, I wouldn't worry too much about "logic."

Two, it's so she could take down the vampire "one-on-one" without interference by the ghosts or the necromancer. Maybe she's driven by pride or some code of honour.

One, the world can be illogical. Not the characters.

Two, no it was obviosly a purely tactical choice, as she made it after the other attempt failed. Look just because you like the comic doesnt mean you have to defend every lesser flaw in it.

It's proably an honor thing combined with confidence. Tiefling Assasin Chick (TAC) feels confident in her ability to win the fight one-on-one, especially if others are giving her a hand (By say, convinientally placing plants). So TAC gives lara a weapon before starting the fight.
Also, it looks like TAC is a druid from the spells she's used.

It doesn't bother me. To me, it seemed like she was giving Lana the illusion that she had a chance before entangling her. Unfortunately, she didn't plan well enough.

Alternately, she may turn out to be on the same side as our "heroes." Or something.

Giving her a small rapier to fight against the sword does not make that fight much of an 'even match'.
Besides honor, maybe the idea to give her a weapon at all was to avoid our vampire girl to come up with ideas and an unexpected style of fighting - which perhaps could have prevented the use of the plant.

    Really nice comic, BTW !
