The Granthroap is still trying to bite Wort's leg off, since it can't get any of its other arms through the gap.

Lia's arrows bounce harmlessly off the heavily lidded eyes. They're not that much use underground. As Inigo's fireballs hit it's face the Granthtoap writhes slightly in pain although it does not distract it for long.

Glick is still passed out from hunger on the floor.

Nomlas punches a wall and smashes a chair over his head.

Wort legs is instantly ripped off, he looks down in shock.

Halp! The giant rust monster has eaten Wort's leg!

Inigo shoots some more fireballs at the creture, and looks at Darkblade.

Get that koblod out of the way and get it some food!!

Pegasus licks Masato back, then goes to the fridge, digging for some lunch, and getting out 3 steaks, nosing one towards Masato, and then teleporting the other one into her room for later. she digs into hers.

The fireballs just singe the hair on the back of its head, as it has bowed its head to crunch on Wort's leg. There is a horrible sound of screeching metal, not dissimilar to nails on a blackboard as it chews and subsiquently swallows.

The Granthroap makes another lunge at one-legged-Wort, straining the kitchen wall to its limit.

To bad Masato's occupied, so he isn't going to be in the fight. ))

Masato eats his, he is quite hungry. Masato moves close to Pegasus so they are side by side.

Bushranger wanders out of the control room, grumbling about inconvienent deadtimes, and spots the monster.

Oh great, just what we need.

He hoists a Fenton Bazooka out of his Bag of Holding, and fires it at the critter, hopefully allowing the opening Ghost Zone portal to tear a nice hole in its centre of mass.

He then pours a cup of coffee, and heads for the Lair, and deadtime.

Masato coughs badly at the first comment from Mina...

The Granthroap tries to pick up Wort in its jaws, (unless stopped) followed by a worrying sound of tearing metal as the jaws start to rotate again.

With it's prize finally within grasp, the Granthroap finally smashes down the kitchen wall before turning around and going to find somewhere more hospitible to enjoy its meal.

((It's not really a rust monster. Metal, whilst tasty, gives it terrible indegestion. It's more like a worm-lizard. That eats rock.))
