Yeah, Buttermilk. My mom got some a few days ago, and it's really good. I ws wondering, since my dad mentioned it once...... you can make more of it if you have a little, right?

What happens if I put a teaspoon of it in a container with milk? Then it ferments and becomes buttermilk too, right?

My Dad and I were once talking to this very, very old lady who was both hard of hearing AND didn't speak English as a first language. He was trying very hard to explain to her that I was his daughter, but first she thought sister, then wife, and she kept getting more and more confused. He kept saying "This is my daughter. Yes, I am her father. She is my child. My daughter. Yes."

Later I overheard him saying to my mom, "I was tempted to put in fruit of my loins, but I didn't want to offend anyone."

I remember hearding something once, I think in a comedy routine, that said drivers get friendlier the further into the outback you go. To paraphrase, it went something like this:
"A couple of k's out of town, you make eye contact. A few hours after that, you raise a finger in greeting. A few hours later, you wave. Some hours after that, you both stop and have a cuppa."
But yeah, if you ever come to Australia you'll almost definitely go your whole trip without seeing a single unsealed road. Dirt roads, in my experience, are mostly linking farms, around small country towns near deserts, or way out in the red centre. My first home town had a whole lot of dead straight ones around it... They were fun

So, today it was the anime and manga convention they hold each month in the city. It was poorer than the last time I went...

But at least I could see some old friends I had lost track of.

And on another, completely different theme, I'm being stalked. Someone is sending me text messages to my cell phone since last Friday. I don't know the phone number of whoever is doing this, and the person won't say either. The person seems to know a lot about me, so it kinda freaks me a bit.

At least it's not menacing...

I've told several people. I've even tried tracing the phone number, since I have some acquaintances working at a cell phone company. But the problem is, this cell phone is from another company, so it was of no use. I just hope I won't need to change phones...

Radikal, who would know your cell phone number? Go to everyone who might and DEMAND to know if they gave it out, even if they won't give you the name. Maybe it was a friend who gave the number to a girl (or boy, as the case may be) who likes you.

Otherwise, I would seriously consider changing your phone number.

The gender of your stalker is irrelevant. Both sexes are equally capable of creeping into your house and slitting your throat when you're asleep or shooting you in the head as you walk to school.

@Skippy: I would say it's proably one of your friends on a different cell phone or somthing messing with you. That said, next time they say somthing about you (like lets say, that you really like Mint chocolate chip ice cream) act confused, lie, and say you hate mint chocolate chip ice cream. Maybe you can convince them that some of the stuff theyve gotten right has been a coincidence and that they are stalking somebody else.
Personally, I would be slight creeped out/suspicious that it was one of my friends trying to creep me out, but I have friends like that.

Well, it could just be someone messing with you, it could be someone who's genuinely interested in you but rather socially inept, or it could be something that is, or may get, more sinister. I'd probably suggest just confronting them on it: Tell them, look, you're freaking me out, and if you don't tell me who you are I'm going to call the authorities. Better yet, call the number and tell them that voice-to-voice.

It said to tell her to stop if you are creeped out. So tell them to stop. It sounds innocent enough, but just stop it anyways. If it keeps going, say that's it and shut off the phone. After a few days, turn it on and monitor. If it's still going, switch numbers. And keep that number quiet.

Well, it might not work. As it is so far it sounds as if they are messing with you, but I would be wary.

@BRC: I know, I have had the same thought. I kinda hope it's that way. But I can't know for sure, since the phone number isn't from the city where I live, nor from the city where I used to live, but from another place I've never even visited. I don't discard the thought that this person is an acquaintance of mine that comes from that city and moved to where I am now and met me sometime though, but it seems a bit far fetched.

Of course, the first thing that crossed my mind was "who do I know from Cuernavaca that also moved to Puebla?"

Then I realised that I knew a lot of people in Cuernavaca, and I don't know much about them after leaving school, so it could be almost any of those people, not my closest friends, because I know for sure where they are and what they are doing.

Anyway, I'll keep you all informed if anything new happens. I hope nothing to worry about. If things get worse, I'll indeed give my stalker a warning, change my number and contact the authorities.

Yeah Skippy best bet is to get someone else on a different phone to call the line and test who it is. Something from a business line to trigger the call display would work well.
