Skippy, being from the same country as you, I would advise against switching off your cell phone. Sometimes, that's just what they want.
I would also advise against responding, but at this point I'm not so sure.
Best thing to do? Get yourself a new SIM Card with a new phone number.

This lag has been killing me tonight. I've double posted 4 seperate times, and the lag for edit is even worse. I was trying to delete one of my double posts, and it took 30 minutes for it to finally work. I was able to finish my guitar practice while everythings been loading. Crazy.

Wow this thread is moving quickly.
Funny story:
I was playing hide and seek with my three year old brother today. Whenever it was my turn to seek he would always hide in the same exact spot.
After a while it got pretty boring.Spoiler

Hey! Alarra and I were playing Rock Band a few hours ago and we're pretty pleased with our progress so far. We've got over 400 stars and 400,000 fans. Our next achievement we're looking for is to complete the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Invitational gig. We'd have tried it tonight but she had to head back to VA and I had to head to work in about 15 minutes and it's an 8 song set. Ah well. Maybe some of the folks in Cleveland can help us get that done.
On that note, I really need to practice on the drums because there are some songs I can barely play on medium, let alone hard. Unfortunately, my kick pedal knee is acting up now. Grrrrr.
Can anyone play the drums on hard?Want to meet some of the most awesome people on the internet? Come to the Baltimore/DC Area RenFest Meetup 2012!

Yeah, it's been okay since then so far. On that note, though, just last week I've begun house hunting and, since there's SO MUCH inventory now, it didn't take long to find one that I'd like to put an offer on. It's a little brick faced townhouse in Glen Burnie (for those of you familiar with the area between B-more and D.C.) where I'll get to have a permanent dedicated spot for it. I'm pretty jazzed about it. It'll probably be a bit before I find out if I get it or not though.
@^ I'll admit that we sorta set it up so that we could make sure we'd be able to get the harder stuff done by making the band leader a vocalist. That way we can do vocals and bass for the times when we need to play on hard in order to get new fans. Between the two of us we can do most of the vocals on hard and the bass, well, we were doing okay on GH2 on hard before Rock Band came out so the bass on most songs is pretty playable and still downright easy on some of them.
@V - by inventory I mean that there are currently a LOT of houses for sale.Last edited by Zeb The Troll; 2008-01-14 at 03:57 AM.

Re: Bushranger's Bodaciously Buffed Random Banter-y Rooster #93
Today while sitting in Philosophy, my mind was naturally wandering and it came across the thought "Science screws magic. A new slayer was made when Buffy technically died, but she came back by science. I wonder if a slayer keeps their powers when they have a sex change."
And so the other 45 minutes of the lesson was spent writing an essay exploring the idea of a slayer having a sex change.
Eventually, it would cause the apocolypse. Like everything else in the Buffyverse.

Oooh...Calculus is no fun. (I'm on my second run through it at the moment) But it's also the highest math you'll have to do...unless you've chosen to become an engineer (like I did)

Or a physist, or mathemetician.
All of which I'm considering doing.
Why does it always rain on me? Why? It was blue skys all day and as soon as I leave the house, it starts pouring and only stops when I get back. When the sky is clear again. *sigh* Now I look like a half-drowned rat...

Re: Bushranger's Bodaciously Buffed Random Banter-y Rooster #93
Hmmm...I just read the first post with messages to Skippy, but I don't see it as something I'd be scared about. On the contrary, I'd be amused and interested. Guess the same thing can be taken different depending on the person...
From those messages I take it she (I assume she's a girl, personally I would be creeped out/annoyed if it wasn't) just wants to play. And I'd oblige her. But that's just me, and that's just in theory. I wish I had someone who sent me messages telling me that she likes me.
Besides she told you she'd stop if you asked her too.
I'll read more into this. (I see that she probably hasn't)
Edit: Hmmm...Rock band sounds surprisingly similar to you know, making an actual band. You need people, "instruments", practice, you need to take on roles an get together...Of course, minus the actual playing music. I can see that it's fun, but being a musician myself I don't see the point of playing it (to that scale I mean). Then again, it's probably a good simulation of the experience of playing in a band. It should have some sort of songwriting stage or something, though, dunno. More open, more creative.Last edited by FdL; 2008-01-14 at 12:29 PM.
