Re: OotS Quiz V
She is, naturally, directly behind you.
Which semi human is called "Mistress" (yes, I've a kink for webcomic's mistresses. Wanda's bad.)

Grant me insight, Dragon mistress!
Wait, is she semi-human? Argh, not sure... if it counts, open question.

Mistress Miyazaki might count as a semi-human.

Re: OotS Quiz V
"Semi-human" in the meaning of elf, dwarf, gnome, ecc (ok, true word is "demi"). And Miko is never titled Mistress while halved.
Anyway, "Haley is upset".

Re: OotS Quiz V
Damn, this one needs a sharp eye -.-*
But kinda figured out there are not so many demi human females except Durkon's little one-night-stand. And being a disciple of Loki, she's a mistress of fire elementals, isn't she?
Hm... not sure... I'll take an easy one. Remember when Xykon said he couldn't laugh, cause he had no lungs? Show me a strip where Rich proves him lying about that.

Thanks aapje! (Why Am I ignored? *sniff* Is it cause I'm German? )
OK, it's not completely 12h but I think I'll still give a hint.
Though... I can't come up with a good one, which doesn't make it too easy -.-***
Okay... I'll give a lame one and one making it quite easy as spoiler.

Re: OotS Quiz V
Roy is so negative...
We know that Roy called V dog. But later, he called Haley with a famous (and common) dogs name. And as Haley is female, I suppose that calling her with a dog name is equivalent to call her never mind.

Re: OotS Quiz V
Nope. It's a clear author error, like happens in paper comics.
Hint: the female character exist in only two pages, for a total of seven frames. So, no one important. The error is in the second page.
EDIT: 24 hours past hint
Ok, this is a give away. Re: OotS Quiz V
In my endless battle with all modern social beliefs, I have to digress here to correct Isolder74's signature.
The quote actually is ""Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum.""
Confucious didn't speak Latin.
The original author was a Roman by the name of Vegetius, and the quote translates as "If you would have peace, be thou then prepared for war".
I have a hard quiz question for everyone:
Who are the two hostages being held by the orcs in OotS #553?

Re: OotS Quiz V
The quote is in Sun Tzu's art of war. Confucious did say it. It is not impossible for more then one culture to have similar sayings. Confucious only said it in Chinese rather then Latin. Confucious also said something that roughly translates to "Do unto others as you would wish them to do unto you."

Re: OotS Quiz V
Thanks for partecipation, but the actual question is "Who eats to fill the loneliness?".
Your question, actually, can't be answered due to lack of the answer itself. As you should know, quiz can be answered only by linking a page, and no page is disponible showing the hostage/s, other than hypothesis.
Your war against battle with all modern social beliefs, whose value I don't argue, is off topic here. It would be greatly appreciated if you, and Isolder74 could discuss it in private, or in a thread relative to the topic.
Thanks.
