    Aldra chuckles, his lips curling in an insincere smirk. His first words are directed at Roland. You aren't very subtle are you? He chuckles again. After a moment, he continues. I have lived a long life, and have had dealings with many different creatures, from humans to halflings to giants. He pauses again. The most unfortunate of those dealings and the one I regret the most are those with drow. I don't know exactly why they captured me, but no doubt they were seeking retribution for my actions against them in my youth.

    Alright. Now if your previous actions have no futher bearing aside to act as motivation, tell us about you time while captured. Descriptions of poeple and places, Conversations you over heard that could hint at the next course of action they might take.

    Terry doesn't find any specific item on Aldra that is evil. He just senses evil on Aldra.


    Aldra blinks and looks at Lauriel. He seems a little nervous about something. ((Sense Motive and Spot checks)) He makes a sudden movement with his arm and a dagger appears in his hand and in a flash he plunges the dagger into Lauriel's back. He jumps up and begins to attempt to run.

    Lauriel falls out of the bed and starts coughing up blood. The dagger is still in her back.

    ((This is a surprise round, the sense motive and spot checks are not to be able to stop it from happening, but to realize that it's going to happen and to be ready to react to it.))

    Arwel sees the subtle movment indicating an attack but is unable to react in time. He takes a step towards the window and pulls his weapon keeping his eyes trained on the elf to see which way he will bolt.

    Seeing the man stab Lauriel, Terry instinctively goes to her aid, allowing the others to go after Aldra. Roland said they use poison, I should take out that knife. He takes the knife out of her back and attempts to bandage her up and stop the bleeding. Where'd that cleric go?

    Arwel draws his dagger as well and makes a quick assesment on Aldra's next action.

    If high enough he will ready an action to attack when Aldra charges, otherwise he will move up to enage the elf.

    Shocked to see the dagger come from nowhere after Alrda had been searched for weapons Yaroc was unable to react to the attack. Seeing Aldra make for the window Yaroc tries to close in keeping himself between Aldra and the door.

    Enough of this!

    While Terry desperately tries to stabilize Lauriel, who is still bleeding, the force of Aldra's charge knocks Arwel off balance and he has to take a few steps back, causing his counter attack to miss by a large margin. His attack was not needed however, for Yaroc's mighty blow hits Aldra in the back and sends him to the floor, by the looks of it mortally wounded. Blood is pouring from his back. The commotion attracts the attention of the cleric outside who bursts into the room looking flabbergasted. What's going on here?

    The cleric rushes to Lauriel's body. He takes out a small vial from a pocket in his robe with white liquid inside. He force-feeds the potion to Lauriel and the effect is instantaneous. She stops coughing up blood and opens her eyes, coughs once and then tries to get up. Poison. I have no idea what kind however. He moves over to Aldra and checks his pulse. He's still alive, but only just.
