Turkey blames delay in orders on Siberian winter

When asked about an apparent delay regarding the issuing of orders for the Spring, a spokesman for the Foreign Minister blamed difficulties in reaching the army currently deployed in Siberia: "We didn't realize that they lacked telegraph lines in that region, so we had to rely on horse messengers... some of whom froze to death in that cursed winter. This meant that we couldn't get word from them about their whereabouts in time to give them new info. Oh, and don't quote me on this, but the Foreign Minister is a lazy, lazy, man who can't be bothered to work late or come in Saturdays to do his job... If that ends up on the front page, I'm going to get fired, so don't print that."

On an unrelated note, the press regards prior restraint as utterly antithecal to a free media, even when restraint is provided by one of our sources. We wish him luck in finding a new job.

    Arrgh!!
English Prime Minister is baffled and/or upset. First of all a miscommunication in orders leads to the Irish Sea attempting to go to Bre . . . Huh? "That's not what I wanted, that is not what I ordered, that is not even possible" He told staffers this morning. And now the silly russians have forgot to pay attention to the supply line and inenvertantly disbanded the entire asian division, leaving supply centers open to be gobbled up by the overly lucky Japanese."

OoC: Can we get a possible extension. . . what with it being easter weekend, and builds being posted. I will only really have Monday to negotiate and contemplate moves. I think I will need more time. I will still get orders in on Monday if I am the only one that feels this way but it can not hurt to ask.

*points out that China will be down to 1 or 2 SCs by the end of this turn with a 10 or 11 SC Japan bearing down on them, even with a player*

Oh yeah-- and Russia isn't all that dead yet. Waaaay less of a fixer-upper.

Yeah, Russia will have 2 SC at the end of this year almost guaranteed.

    Much better position.
