Bortak was adopted. He dosen't know that though, and never doubted that his guardian was his true genetic father.

It's just that when I always picture a super-villain's lair, I always think that an office setting would be the most effecient for any world-taking-over scheme, instead of a complex with nuclear missles lying around everywhere like you see in movies.

Plus, this is yet another way the Darkness-wanderer isn't completley a sterotypical villain.
