Wouldn't this be counted as a "fan-art" like thing? I've seen other story/picture like works on copyrighted material (like yu-gi-oh abridged or, in your case, probably this)

You might be thinking of Q from the Star Trek series. That is not the same Q as in this series. Similar, but not the same guy. Same race, but not the same guy.

the Q in this comic was never in Star Trek, which is probably why you don't know him.

I made him up. This is my character. I hade a DnD guy based on the Star Trek Q who lost his powers.

Secondly, the only reasons I put a Star Trek uniform on him is that all Q in the Star Trek series had captains uniforms, and I wanted to make my Q stand out in this webcomic.

Either way, I bet it will be just fine, but I think you should do a diffrent one then the one in your example, but it dosen't really matter to me.

A tad strange. What's wrong with Carl? He should be shorter and with a triangular head.

On the new artwork: The heads are incorrectly proportioned for OotS style artwork (They should be circles) and the bodies are a bit too wide. Carl needs some work, and should be much shorter as a gnome. Other than that, looks solid.
