Limna
Limna nodded with that wide-eyed stare of hers as Jinna spoke. She feels her heart jump when she sees their warforged allies.
It looks like they're just about getting into trouble, too... do we go up there, or wait and see what they do?

"And where do anchors belong?"
"In the water!"
The sailors move to seize Michael and Noname. Michael reacts first.

Re: Eberron: Entrance to Adventure [IC]
Cymran after a bit is struck with and idea. With a thought he upgrades his look, going for a minor noble or well off middle class look. Then he strides in boldly confident he wouldn't be recognized.
Assuming he gets across the room unintercepted, he says, "Ah... Alelowin good chap... just the man I wished to see." And helps himself to a seat.

Aelowim combines standing up and bowing in one awkward motion. He looks at Cymran a little closely for comfort, dredging his memory. "Please be... hmm , yes," when Cymran sits before the invitation is made. "Strange days," he mutters as he sits again.
---
Michael flails. His elbow connects to someone's solar plexus [3 non-lethal], but he doesn't quite drop the man.
"Maric, no!" One of the sailors moves to drag the dying one to safety and instantly becomes Noname's next victim. The sailor's head lolls back, throat anything but neatly sliced.
The sailors aren't laughing anymore, and are totally disorganized. One tries to put Noname in a full nelson, but the warforged throws him off. Others move out of range but stick around to help their buddies. Several flee. Two holding Michael try to let go. The third tries to use Michael as a shield against Noname.
Limna (who had a head start) closes to 120'.

Re: Eberron: Entrance to Adventure [IC]
The two sailors that tried to get away from Michael do so and flee south. The one wanting to use Michael as a shield does, but seems to be weighing Michael's words. "C-Can you stop it?"
((This round Michael is pinned. At a glance, the one with the crushed chest might last a few rounds. The one with the slashed throat has probably already expired.))
Noname is still speaking in a monotone, "Order invalid. Ignore." He reverses the grip on his greatsword, about to impale the sailor behind him.

Re: Eberron: Entrance to Adventure [IC]
Aelowim seems to be warming to you, but he's still on edge, unsure what you're about to ask him. "Aye, times are always hard for honest men. It's better now than in wartime, though." The server interrupts, bringing Aelowim's meal: baked fish and white wine.
---
The sailor tries to dodge, but Noname is an expert swordsman, and spits him up through the ribcage. "Invalid Command <beat> presumed ally." The sailor slides off the blade as Noname manuvers to get a shot on the one holding Michael. He's currently straddling the one Michael knocked out*.

Re: Eberron: Entrance to Adventure [IC]
"Oh yes indeed. War is absolutely the worst. Price of good go up, price of labor goes up because all the strong backs are all out fighting. And there is a very real risk that no matter how hard and long you have worked, no matter how smart or careful you've planned, that some idiot with a sword can come along and take it all away."
"And that bring us back to the point. Pirates are taking our stuff by the sword and we want to stop that. Now building up an armed force to deal with them, has to much potential to be taken as a threat by our own goverment. And we most definatily don't want that."
"So that leaves us with Plan B. Gather every detail we can, learn as much as we can about how they operate, and then let everyone know. Its one thing for the city to ignore faceless merchants. It's not personal so people don't care. But it is much harder to ignore Sally, a young 10 year old girl who survived an attack, but was so traumatized that she has nightmares and can't go near boats or water without crying out."
"This is what we want to do, put a face on the attacks, and have enough solid details that everyone starts asking 'why'. 'Why hasn't anything been done about them?' And that my dear Aelowim is what brings me to you today. I wish to get the details of the attack on your ship, so we can get another piece in this puzzle and come that much closer to stopping them."
