Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
I call Inverse Ninja Law on this little situation. It would be far easier to beat up the Dwarves, but even easier to beat up all of them at once. Option 3.

Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
I'm going to call it an error. There's been more than one time I've tried to paste something, not seen it, and pasted again. Recently I was designing a character, finished, zoomed out, and found three shoes not an quarter-inch apart beneath the drawing.
Also, 2. C'mon, get down with the Dwarves!Last edited by Lyinginbedmon; 2008-02-11 at 10:38 AM.

Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
I just noticed, two panels vanished somewhere, I'll need to fix that.

Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
I just realized that the comic worked even without those two panels, but they set up some backround information.
Let the wild speculation as to mister goldpeak and the lizard begin!

Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
Originally he was going to lose his arm, but that would have meant I needed to get it reattatched which would have cluttered things up.
Oh yes, Some explinations
Oscar was trying to hit The Gnome (You'll find out about him later) with a three-part spell, first he conjures some sand, which he then hits with fire to turn it into a ball of whirling glass blades, which he then sends flying at his target.
Also, the Kobolds were under an Invisibility-Orb type spell, The Gnome saw them somehow and Greg heard their guns clicking before they fired (which broke the spell, hence the poof).
EDIT: No comments makes Kobold Mobster cry

Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
Triple Post, this is MADNESS!
Anywho, the latest comic gives you enough setup for the next question anyway, so I'll just give it to you.
*ahem*
Our Heroes are in a corridor with some snappily dressed Kobolds with powerful firearms, the Kobolds have attacked, but don't appear to have our heroes as their targets and have since stopped firing. What should they do
1: Grab Oscar and run for it!
2: Ask the Kobolds for help
3: Ask the Kobolds for information
4:Beg for mercy
5: Ask the kobolds to take them (that is, Rob and Jack and co) to their leader ( that is, the Kobolds leader).Last edited by BRC; 2008-02-15 at 05:45 PM.

Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
I'm going to go with 1, simply because they're firing at something and it's certainly in their general direction, and because Jack certainly can't shield them forever. Since we don't know how much ammo the kobolds are packing we can't say for certain how long they can keep firing. Who he goes and runs away...
Kicks kobold tail the very next day

Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
Oh right, sorry, It should be noted that the Kobolds stop firing shortly after the events of the last panel, though if this is because they are out of people they want to kill, or are ot of ammo, or are just waiting for Jack to drop the sheild is unknown. (well, I know why they stopped, but I'm not telling you)

3. Ask for info before the shield disappears AND THEN make a run for it.
