Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
My God, why didn't I think of that? Kittens would be an almost perfect distraction, second only to kittens AND puppies! And while the enemy soldiers are fussing over the cute furry creatures, they're easy prey for, say, an axe to the skull.

Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
Looks like I may have some time tonight, and Operation Blayze seems to be leading in the polls.
The original plan called from Rob at the front door, Oscar at the back door, and Greg with Jack making a third door. Unless I hear multiple dissenting opinions I'll proably just go with that.

Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
Comments are appreciated.
Also, I don't know when I'll be able to make the next part, so I'll post a little random somthing about Oscar's Magic
Spoiler
Oscar's main magic, as is implied from his diety, is Sun-based. The crystal on his staff can actually focus light into deady beams, especially if he summons a magic lense between him and the sun. Howwever, in Granitania he dosn't have the sun to draw on, limiting his powers. Fortunetally Oscar is also knows Glass Magic, which is less a magical discipline in itself than a combination of Fire magic and summoning sand. He summons and shapes sand, then blasts it with flame to form it into magical glass.

This thread has reached the point of transcendence. It can only go downhill from here. Anything else will destroy the thread. I've probably said too much already.
MODS, LOCK THIS THING DOWN!

My God, those teeth and eyes! It looks like something out of a child's nightmare, something so primal that it scares grown adults witless during the darkness of their dreams...
Also, great comic. :)

Re: Rob And Jack, An Interactive Webcomic
What can I say, I aim to please.
The reason the center isn't transparent is twofold, Firstly it contains a reseviour of sand that Oscar can use to repair it, and the glow is some of the animating magic. Secondly, I couldn't get it to look right when it was transparent.
It's getting late tonight but I'll try to get to work on Part 3 of Operation Blayze tommorow. It will feature Jack, Greg, and due to popular demand, kittens.
@v: it's Magical glass. Or maybe the person who created it still gets to control it for a few seconds even if it has shattered, so though you COULD destroy it in one go with a spell, that's proably not a good idea because whoever created it can send the shards flying at you.Last edited by BRC; 2008-03-01 at 11:36 AM.
