I'm with Blayze on most of the points, but have Oscar on heal alert for Jack, whilst Jack readies to open all his remaining firepower on the barricade should it go down (Meaning shoot at anyone that comes through).

However, they have a big space to funnel in reinforcements, so as quickly as the enemy targest go down they should be looted for barricading materials for to expand the area of relative safety outside the centre room.

They have already cleared them out. What they are worried about is the enemies who are on their way, The kobold neglected to ask the dwarves and their golems to line up nicely so they could count them.

1: Blayzes Plan

A) Oscar needs to heal Rob, and anybody else who took damage.
B) Everybody needs to get inside the room in the middle of the map.
C) The greatest barricade known to mankind needs to be constructed in the doorway of said room (Point 1 on the map).
D) Oscar and Jack need to call their most powerful summons on the other side of the barricade, at point 2.
E) Everybody who can shoot needs to stand at point 3, ready to blast any enemies who show up.
F) Everybody who can't shoot needs to stand nearby, but not block the line of sight of those who can shoot.
G) While the golem and the summon do what they can, the shooters need to pick off any enemies they see past the barricade.
H) When/If the barricade falls, the shooters need to retreat further down the room, allowing the non-shooters room to work their own magic.



Map Key:

1 - The best barricade possible, made out of everything that can be moved.
2 - Oscar's golem and Jack's greatest summon (Making full use of the Inverse Ninja Law).
3 - Everybody with a gun. Those who aren't able to shoot, or who don't have a gun, stand just behind them, ready to counter-attack any invasion.

1. Oscar and Rob summon their guys (as many summons as possible) and then hightail it to the rear entrance where the gang has set up barricades

2. Summoned monsters ignore the golems (well, try not to get hit), concentrate on taking out as many mooks as possible, hopefully getting the drop on those who are entering

3. Ranged attackers shoot survivors heading down the narrow hallway

4. Rob and the Drakes man the rear entrance

They don't have a big bomb, if they did, it would have been on the assesment of resources sheet.

I vote for #3, although I'm a bit curious as to what this barricade will be made out of, if our heroes are looting corpses for what they need to rebuild it. I hereby request that it be renamed the "Spleen Wall". :)

Ask yourself this, are you sure you want to rely on some Deus Ex Machina showing up? It's not like theyve assembled the Deus Machina yet.

It's mainly because there's the possibility of the escape route turning into a funnel for enemies.

A Laughing Shadow

Random Fluff!

Laughing Shadow's take the form of the shadow of thier summoner, however the shape they are in is irrelevant. Either way, a Laughing Shadow is highly effective at rapid attacks and sowing confusion amongst enemies, as such it is a favorite for casters fighting large groups.

POP QUIZ

The last few comics have had somthing intresting about Jack, A prize for the first person to point it out. I'm kinda surprised nobody mentioned it yet personally, but maybe it's the white elephant in the room that nobody talks about.

Ah right, a Comic. Ive been busy Spring Breaking it up (read, playing SSBB), so heres what I'll do, I'm going to visit colleges for about 6 days starting tommorow. During that time I will have limited accsess to the intertubes, but I'll be bringing my laptop and will try to churn out some comicy goodness for you guys, hopefully by the time I get back I will have a nice, epic battle scene all ready for you.
