Your soul is safe, and your enemy goes crazy. It's a win-win situation!
    Two things wrong with that:

One: You need to find a Grisgol.

Two: You would go insane when you put it in.

Better idea: Make it a ring and sneak up to a hobo when he is asleep. Put the ring in the hobo's mouth, and make him swallow.

If you die, you respawn in him, and kill him. You take the ring out, and find another hobo

Actually, it's somewhat worse than that. To construct a Grisgol, the Lich must first be killed and then does not respawn as long as it's phylactery is in use as the animating component of the Grisgol.

Yeah, I just found out. However, that's to construct a Grisgol. But if you just hide it in an already-existing one...

As for the hobo thing, he'd digest your phylactery...

It's a little late for 'Finx is a LICH!' posts, but... Finx is a LICH! Which I specifically find surprising because... well, Liches don't sleep, right? And yet in #63, Keriss managed to put him to sleep to distract him...

Oh dear. I'm being a difficult reader, aren't I? Love the comic, in any case, and just in case it turns out that Finx is a man disguising himself as a lich disguising himself as a man, I lay claim to a lot of smug.

The movie is 2001: A Space Odyssey. The sentient computer is named HAL, and it famously utters the line "I'm afraid I can't let you do that, Dave."
