Because of the way Counter Charge is activated, I ask either that my opponent not make his attack roll on a charge until I get a chance to assess the situation, or that I get to interject his attack roll with my Counter Charge attempt. Obviously the former is better, but whatever you decide.

You'll have to forgive me, but I am AFB ATM. I think I get the gist of what you are asking. May I suggest you ask your opponent:

If you are going to perform a charge in which I would be able to react to (you can give the specifics of Counter Charge) please declare the movement, but don't roll the attack until I have decided whether or not to use Counter Charge.

Like I said, I don't have my books with me right now so alter that to make sense. Hope that helps.

Kaganmonk, if you announce a Charge action for this match only, would you please spoiler the attack roll? The charge announcement and movement should be unspoilered. It's an unusual request, I know, but it'll help keep the match running a bit more smoothly, in this case.

Er... I think you trigger an AoO from attempting to move through my Guisarme's threatened square. In which case I use Evasive Reflexes to 5step back to I15 instead of attacking. Can we get a ref to confirm?

Both attacks miss, by the way, and yeah, I don't mind telling you after the match. If you want to find out now, you could try charging me?
