Draven can carry the pack no problem, he's pretty strong. How much does it weigh and what all's in it?

Sounds good. However, it's become painfully clear that I sometimes miss plot points, so wanted to make sure I wasn't covering old ground.

Yes, it has lots of clinky things, and is pretty heavy, about 40 pounds I think, since it has a breastplate in there as well as lots of other stuff.

Hmmm...
I think the backpack has 2170 platinum pieces, and a fine breastplate with a phoenix motif carved on the front. There is also some adventurer's stuff (backpack, waterskin, etc) and some bits of non-magical jewelery. It weighs about 75 pounds altogether.

Uhm... we just took the heads 'cause we couldn't carry the bodies after our beast of burden succumbed to a terminal case of Magic Missile...

I also don't think we did bother much with the bodies after cutting off the heads. Orin doesn't do digging, being a noble and all, and Tharok probably didn't bother either.

As for the personal effects of the deacesed Livina Lightfoot, Orin is carrying those in a little pack, including one wooden flute and some non-magical jewelry.

They weren't heavy and he figured that Livina might be mad at him if he brought her back to life but not her stuff. Well, madder.

Krashnix's breastplate and shield, well, Orin was hoping that bringing back one of their own to the temple of Isana (his head anyway) plus his gear would make them more receptive to requests of having people raised.

And it never hurts to have some money either. So Orin has about 550 of Lucidae's coins and Tharok had the rest.

And of course he has a number of unidentified magic items, some of which he's wearing, some are just stowed away in his backpack awaiting identification.

Now let's make camp and go to sleep already. Orin is kinda partial to regaining some HP here.

Ok, so 9 HP for Orin, 10 for Kaleff, none for Ismal, Draven's given Sumner 15 already, and he'll heal him another 6. We should all be back to max in the morning, yes?

I might also point out that Tharok was wearing a slightly singed vest and an Amber Amulet, which Livina had been wearing. But i believe that those items belonged to someone else.

So if one of you used to have a magic vest, singed or unsinged, that probably is the one.

Also, as a not-melee bard, Orin really doesn't get much out of that heavy steel shield he is lugging around. But a cloak that lets people flee battles with a fly speed, well that is just his thing.

Okay, so now that we're making nicey-nice, can we agree to a division of the stuff? Or did this happen and I missed it?

What I have so far:

Ismal: reclaiming her vest of resistance - although an amulet may do her more good. Any of us know what the amber amulet was?
Draven: shield, boots?
Orin?: Cloak?

Again, Ozzy, please forgive if you've answered this and I just didn't see the post, but did we find anything on Saigon?

Just write 2 fourth level spells that would be reasonable (ie ones that are logical progressions of ones you already have, like Improved Invisibility from Invisibility, or ones you've seen used... basically, things that Kaleff could reasonably have worked out without research time).

So 'Identify' requires pearl (check), wine, and an owls feather. The last is easy to imagine coming from a spell component pouch, could we do this without the wine Ozzy?

As for spells, I'm looking hard at Imp Invisi, Dimension Door, and Arcane Eye. Will any of these work? Tried to show Kaleff doing research after the teleport went awry.

You can do it with water. It'll just taste really horrible. Dissolved pearl ain't all that yummy.

Cool, I'll grab up DD and Arcane Eye. Eh, so not to ask too much, but you think I could trade out Cloud of Knives for Improved Invisibility? Picked it back up at level nine, though I haven't used it yet, as you said I could re-learn a previously known spell. If not I won't get upset or anything, believe it or not (little sarcasm) this is my first caster-ish character and I'm still trying to figure out how to use them effectively.

While Sumner was away, he's placed it under the mud, under a rock, under the water of the pond, in such a way that he can easily find it again, but anyone else looking for it would have a difficult time.
