I open the unopened drawers slowly one by one while waiting for someone to check the next room, being as quiet as possible.

Inside you find wooden ladles, a whisk etc.

Thelonious whispers to the group "If I had to guess, I say that what we seek would be in a basement. And if I had to guess further, I would say that a passage to the basement might lead from the kitchen." Thelonious goes to listen at the door while he waits for someone sneakier to check the other room.

"I'm pretty sneaky, but there ain't no way I'm just gonna creep in there without knowing whats waiting for us." Moving as quietly as he can towards the door Anthony stands just to the left of it and tries to focus his hearing in an attempt to determine how safe the next room is. If he cannot hear anything then he will grasp the door handle and signal to the others that he is about to open it.

A tall human with dark red hair approaches the back door of the mansion seeing the kitchen door a jar he eases it open with his right hand, his left hand stays close to his one of the axes hanging from his weapon belt. Upon seeing the people moving about the kitchen. He speaks up with a voice similiar to that of a hired messanger The W.. Lady Selene sent me. Who are you and what are you doing here? You can see from his stance he is prepared to run.

Anthony spins around almost instantly as the man starts speaking, he had previously thought he had heard someone creeping up on them. Seeing the man holding his hand close to his axe Anthony bunches up one of his hands into a tight fist, ready to retaliate if the man turned hostile. "Who are we? I think, as we seem to outnumber you, it should be us that do the talking. Who exactly are you, and what're ya here for?"

Warunoki replies still posed to run if circumstances dictate it, My name is Warunoki, The Lady Selene sent me to check on the status of a project and assist if possible. I will say no more till you identify your selves.

"That must take some guts, demanding something from a group of armed people. Well I'm Anthony, and Selene sent me, us, as well. Guess its good we're all on the same side, right?" With that he smiles at the newcomer, a strange sight from a man who looks like he does. "We're just about to see whats through this door, care to come help?" With that Anthony again gets into a position to open the door, waiting for the all clear from at least one other person before he does so, not wanting to surprise them all.

[Questor]

Bringing a sleep spell to the for eof his thoughts, Audax gives a grim nod. "Into the breach, eh?"

You can see him relax slightly as Anthony identifies himself. Ah good I was worried for a moment if you don't mind. I will show you my documentation if you will show me yours. With careful movement he removes a docuement and opens it to reveal Lady Selene's seal. After everyone is satisfied he is on the up and up he states So was a bit a task to get here past all the various groups claiming one section or the next. So how goes the recovery? And where would you like me and my axes?

Anthony

"Your axes will do just fine by this door, don't know just whats inside, ya know? Into the breach indeed..." With this he swings open the door and readies himself for whatever is inside.

You see... some stairs down.

It's well lit by your various light sources, and you can see that it runs straight forwards, and then ends in another door, this one is at least fronted in steel plating.

In a slightly, but not entirely, sarcastic tone Thelonious addresses those crowded around the recently opened door. "Huzzah, progress! I think, as a group, we're really getting the hang of this door opening thing." Then, indicating the door at the end of the hall "Perhaps it's time for an encore performance?"

Well then shall we? with a nod to Anthony, Warunoki slowly walks down the stairs to the door at the bottom and stands on the hinge side with an axe in each hand and waits for them to check the door and open it to the next room.

Anthony

"Feel free to be the first through the next door then, holy man. I'm not stopping you." Anthony then walks down the stairs and stops before reaching the door, leaning against the wall with his arms folded across his chest, leaving the whole door opening business to someone else.

Thelonious follows the new arrival down the stairs, releasing the magic lighting his shield as he does so. Arriving at the door, he pauses to listen for activity on the other side.

With a quick nod to his door-opening companions, Thelonious grabs the handle and throws the door open.

[The_JJ]

It slams open with a bang. Warunoki happens to be standing right there, on the hinge side. Reflex save dc 15. Take 1d6 nonlethal damage if you fail.

Beyond the door you can see many step leading down.

Warunoki begins to leap back away from the door as he sees it being swung full force at him unfortunately it catches him in the leg and fall back banging his elbow on the floor and his back on the steps behind him.

Hey watch it!

He clambers back up to his feet and looks into the newly opened room.

Anthony smirks as he sees the door hit the newcomer, not in any way amused at his pain, but at the irony of the situation. In a sarcastic tone he says"I applaud your door opening skills my friend, I think maybe you still need a bit of practice. You know, get the hang of it and everything?" Without another word he steps through the door and begins to make his way down.

[Questor]

Audax proceeds down the stairs last, a sleep spell still at the forefront of his thoughts. He is careful to keep an eye of his shoulder, lest someone should approach from behind.

Mmm, is campaign-blog gone forever? That's where my Audax sheet was, and I have not been able to acces it for a couple weeks now . . ? I might have to recreate him. Not hard, seeing as how he's first level, but still . . .

With a rub to his sholder nah they are just scrapes and bruises I have had worse falling from a horse. with that he moves into the next room and looks around to see what the wealthy keep in their cellers ans why they would put an iron bound door to guard it.
