"Oh... I guess Joshua and I could leave in 20 minutes or so when he's fixed. We'll need to poke around and find the place first anyhow 'less you can tell us where the mart is. We can then watch and wait 'till the other two catch up."

Joshua bites his lip. "This is pretty risky right now, but I don't see any other way. We don't really have time to wait. Shoot! We need to make sure that these two will be able to find us again. All right. Let's go as soon as we're ready"

((I'm going on a big family vacation from August 11 to around the 27th. I probably won't have access to the internet for that time, so you can NPC Joshua as necessary. You'll probably need some new players before then though.))

The healer replys "Very well, but I have not heard of that mart you speak off. however by it's name I could guess that it is somewhere near the graveyard."

((unfortunitally not. It was originally for the 18-27, but my parents added an extra week onto the beginning yesterday, since they could both get if off from work. It caught me off guard too. It may go to a few days after that, but I'll definitaly be back by the 30th, hopefully sooner.))

"Well, that's a place to start. I guess I'll just loiter here till ya finnish patch'n Josh up." Jack then looks for a comfortable chair/bench out of the way where he takes out the palm/crossbow and starts his object reading scan on that. (Durration: time until Joshua is healed)

Last owner is a human male, 24 years old, no alignment (huh?) He gained the object when it was created to make him, and lost it when he got killed.

Before him that orb belonged to a metaling male, 62 years old, lawful evil, he gained the item as he created it and lost it when it was used to make the guy after him.

"Anything interesting over there?" Joshua winces as the medics continue to fix him up.

((As said, total healing. simple damage can be healed with ease, its not drain or something.))

Time moves on, and minutes later the healer says "All done. you are good to go.", and moves on to your friends.

"One of us will come back as soon as we find da mart or our friend." Jack says. "Com'n Josh, at least we know more start'n than we did find'n the other guy. If ya got any last questions for these guys better say em now before we hit the steets again."

Metaling? these guys are new around here. hard to know what they are into. not to mention the fact they are more adaptive then even humans. hard to know one.

As for the necromart-epic fail. that concludes your check.

Joshua stands up, masaging his bruised side where the poisoned bolt had hit him. The bruise was gone now, along with most of the pain. Whatever that healer had done, it was good. He nods to the man "Thank you for what you did."

Turning to Jack, he shrugs. "I'm fine to head out now." He bigins moving towards the door.

Jack

Jack adopts a simple generic disguise with his hat and then follows. He then leads the pair through inns, bars, markets and more asking questions, looking for information on Nirshal, or the NecroMart, in that order of priority. Jack'll also look for clues on Zenrid's strengths if he can, but much more quietly and obliquely.

"Have you seen a man? He owes me money, and his times up."
"I need a guard for my shop, preferably something that doesn't sleep or eat. Know where I could get that?"
"Say you heard of this guy? I owe him a fair bit and want to pay it off. It's more affordably this way than having him call up a favor."
"A mug of ale to anyone who can tell me about..."

And so the questions go as rummers are checked off, locations visited, and rounds of inhibition passed around.

Changing his disguise to something bland as well, Joshua follows Jack out, staying a little ways away and keeping an eye out for anyone who appears to take a little too much interest in what Jack is saying.

This is the last chance I get to post before my computer gets shut down for the trip. I'm going to be touring Eastern Canada with my family, camping mostly, so I won't have much internet access, though we may stay at a few hotels, maybe with internet. No promises though. Jack: you did pretty well after all, facts discovered:

-The necromart isn't around the graveyard, its within it. somewhere. its pretty much open to anyone who could reach it, and considered a "neutral zone" in the graveyard, not the living's territory, nor the dead's.
-None saw Nirshal lately. he pretty much disappeared.
-It was said that you should pay up to Zenrid quick, because his favors will usually cause your death. then your reanimation.


Joshua:

-Upon the mentioning of Zenrid someone took extreme interest of jack. and he miserably failed at hiding it.

((Ha ha, I have returned. The trip was pushed back a few days be bad trafic, but I just got home this morning.))

Joshua

Joshua was sitting near Jack as he asked about. Crouched over a table in the guise of a scholar, he added all that he had learned about Zenrid, Hakim and this organization to his notes. Keeping an eye out, he noticed the fellow's reaction to Jacks talking and carefully ripped a corner off one of his pages. Scribbling onto it "careful. you've attracted someone's attention" as well as what table the guy was at, he wonders over past Jack casually, dropping it onto the table next to him. He then moves over around the room until he's standing behind the man, several tables back, keeping a close eye on him.

"So who, no, 'what' is this Zenrid guy anyway?" he asks people. After a few minutes more talk Jack then grabs the paper and his exit.

After leaving (and ensuring there is no-one following) Jack is quick to change disguises to a generic half-elf.

"Who's attention did we get and over what?" he asks Joshua.

Following Jack out again, Joshua changes to a elf merchant as he walks out the door. "The guy was a few tables away from you. He started looking interested as soon as you mentioned Zenrid. He tried to hide it, but didn't do very well." He then describes what the guy looks like to Jack. "I think we should either keep an eye on him, or get away from him entirly. Which do you think we should do right now?"

Jack (after exiting)

Jack tugs at an ear and thinks briefly. "Let's get us out an back ta da base. We know where dat necro mart thingy is anyhow: I reckon we'd do best get'n our companions and hurrying out there."

"That's a good idea. We can avoid our follower, and I think we should have some backup before we invade the necromart." Joshua starts heading back towards base, keeping an eye out for the fellow in the tavern.
