OOC: Man, bad rolls...

"Well, will you accept this world to start with, or would you like to see the others?"

[Rogue 7]

"What world? All I see are two blokes taking a hike. Can anyone else make sense of this?"

[The Necroswanso]

"No, see, I think they keys, show us who we're supposed to kill. Then they send us to a different plane."

[Colt]

"Actually, those are the people who will be your guide."

[Yuki Akuma]

Neil is still waiting silently, eyes closed in thought. He doesn't offer any advice; he's way out of his depth as it is.

[bchilders]

Chandy

"Can't see why this world isn't good enough. These blokes look like able fellows," Chandy looks to the rest of the group, "So you guys ready to head off?"

[The Maverick]

Gilgstrom pockets his book, "I don't know about "able", their armor looks rather shoddy. Still, I've become rather eager to see how these portals work, I say we take this key."

[Rogue 7]

"Well, t'is the key that Kord has chosen, so I've got no objections. But just for the record, we're not supposed to kill these people, correct?"

[The Necroswanso]

"Sounds like it. I'm going to venture a guess that they will take us to whom we kill?"

[Yuki Akuma]

Neil puts his free hand to his forehead. "Why is everybody assuming that the only way to 'right' a universe is to kill something?"

[Rogue 7]

"I was just trying to confirm that we were not supposed to kill these blokes, trying to head off this barbarian over here. I'm not one for killing. Fighting a man is good, but you don't have to kill him to beat him. If you do kill him, Kord understands, but don't go looking for it. If you do, you'll run out of fights."

[Colt]

"Well then, now that you have chosen, I will open the portal for you." The figure then walk to Oskar, takes the key, and, beckoning you to follow, walks up the stairs to the door, inserts the key in the lock, and turns it. The door then begins to twist from the center, speeding up until the door is no longer visible, revealing a great spinning portal. "Enter, once you have finished your work, I will return for you." Says the figure, stepping back and letting you through. The trip through the portal is hard to describe, the most accurate description would be that it is similar to being drunk, not from having to much alcoholic substance, but actually drunk, like a glass of water had by a man who just returned from 42 years in the desert. The portal deposits you in a small section of underbrush next to a primitive road, which you recognize as the one the two men were walking up earlier. There is a tall castle over on your right up a small hill, and from your left, along the road, you hear the sound of horses' hooves.

Giglstrom looks towards the sound of the hooves, "Hm, the two men we saw in the vision were on foot, we may have some unwanted company.""

[The Necroswanso]

"Good."
Grin steps closest to the direction the sound is coming from, and plants the tip of his blade in the ground.

Chandy

With a quick wink to his companions, Chandy rolls off into a section of the underbrush, drawing two blades as he goes.

[Colt]

Over a small rise in the road to your left comes the two men you saw earlier when Chandy was holding the key. The one in front is wearing a suit of chain mail, covered by a tabard with a golden sun insignia in the center, He has his hand out in front of him as if holding the reigns of some invisible horse and is moving with some sort of combination of skipping and hopping, giving the impression of riding the same invisible horse. Behind him is a man, dressed rather like a peasant, who is carrying an over-sized backpack, and banging two halves of a coconut together, making a sound akin to galloping horses hooves. Upon reaching the top of the rise, the armored man pulls back on the "reigns" as he stops, the accompanying coconut banging slowing to accommodate. The armored man stands surveying the castle intently.

[The Maverick]

After staring at the man holding the coconuts for a moment, Giglstrom approaches the man in chainmail, "Er, good day sir. I do apologize about interrupting..." he looks down at the the "invisible reins" the man is "holding", "...Whatever it is you are doing. My companions and I arrived here just a short while ago, but unfortunately we are a little lost at the moment. We were told to meet someone at this location matching your description, so I assume you are expecting us? Either way, well, who are you, and where in blazes are we?"

Wide eyed and full of rage at the strange sight Garin couldn't help but feel whomever had orchestrated this all, was having a joke at his expense.
Temporarily unable to control the volume of his voice he shouted,
"Who are you and why shouldn't I kill you!?"


(((Ouch. My brain))

[Colt]

"Oh, you must be coming to join me at my court in Camelot! Welcome, I am Arthur, son of Uther Pendragon, from the castle of Camelot, king of the Britons, defeater of the Saxons, and sovereign of all England! Now, if you are indeed the ones to join me at my round table, feel free to follow, as we will be heading back to Camelot after I visit this castle." He begins to hop/skip forward along the road towards the castle, with the other following, again banging the coconuts together.

[Yuki Akuma]

Neil shoots a glare towards Garin, jabbing at his ribs with the butt of his scythe. "Don't threaten the people we're here to help, you idiot." He looks towards the King, and sighs a little bit. "Even if they are riding invisible horses..."

[The Necroswanso]

Garin received the jab, but looked at Neil a little cross.

"Who the hell are the Britons?"

[bchilders]

Chandy

After seeing his party talking cordially with the newcomers, Chandy stroll out of the underbrush and stows both of his blades away. "Morning chaps, I see you met my companions here. We would be honored to join your court at Camelot. Is there any service we could be to you?" Chandy says as he approaches the king and gives a small bow.

[Colt]

The King replies, "I am gathering all the strongest knights I can find so that we my bring peace to Britannia, the land here, he gestures around him, of the Britons. If you are indeed the ones that are to join me, you may follow, I however have business at that castle yonder." and with that he sets off towards the castle.


OOC: Sorry, stole Chandy's color... Rogue 7, you still here?

[The Maverick]

Gilgstrom gawks at the King's back as he "rides" away. His eye twitches a bit before he sets off towards the advancing King, muttering to himself, "I... but... where the HELLS did he get the coconuts!?"

[Rogue 7]

"You're wondering where they got coconuts when we were just warped here from Kord knows where just after getting warped to that place from Kord knows where? Maybe they were carried here by a swallow."

Oskar will follow along, making horsehoof sounds with his tounge.

OOC: Apologies. No internet access on my laptop means I'm not online much.

Garin frustratedly follows.
"A swallow? What in gods are you talking about. Are you honestly suggesting a swallow brought a coconut here?"
