Re: StarCraft: Shadow of the Xel'Naga - Game Thread
Night 1
The storm grows stronger during as the night passes, outside the colonists could hear the sonic blasts that was created by Bhekar Ro’s atmospheric conditions.
Each blast was like a poorly aimed blast from a Siege Tank, and they where tearing the farms apart.
But the colonists felt safe in their homes despite the storm outside since they had build this colony to withstand even the strongest of storms, their greatest worry right now was how ravaged the farms would be after the storm.
It would be nearly impossible to go outside now without a marine combat suit or one of the robo-harvest (an SCV) that the farmers used.
But yet something moved outside, from one of the houses a shadow was moving seemingly unaffected by the storm around it.
It might just have been some colonist that didn’t have enough sense to stay inside if not for the disturbingly changes it went trough as it moved toward one of the houses.
When it had begun it was human shaped but now it had spurted a tail, it arms had transformed into long claws and now it moved more like an insect then a human being.
The defiler didn’t think, it was guided by a present far greater then itself and it knew what it was going to do.
The swarm had during countless of years traveled from planet to planet to absorb all its inhabitants’ genetic material.
The swarm had a clear goal in mind:
To achieve the perfect life-form, trough countless metamorphoses, they infected all begins they came in contact with, transforming them into new Zergs.
Every new creature that was converted brought new genetic material to the swarm strengthening all of the Zergs in the progress.
To the swarm no life-form was perfect enough, improvements could always be made and new breeds could always be converted.
This morphing defiler was unique of its kind; it was a part of the queen of blades experiments and embodied all that the swarm stood for, strength trough genetic changes.
A human brain was something it was not used too, thinking had its positive sides but right now that would not be needed, its claws would be enough to kill its intended target.
Inside on of the houses in Free Haven Yspoch lies in bed just waiting for the storm to pass, he can not sleep the atmospheric blasts are keeping him awake.
Restlessly he turns in his bed, we can’t he just fall asleep already?
The blasts outside was drowning all other sounds, even the sound of something slithering trough the door of his house.
Yspoch suddenly noticed how something was moving inside on the floor…
Under normal circumstances Yspoch would have died right there at the moment he noticed that.
With an explosion the door of Yspoch house was blast open and in came combat suited men.
The sound of the marine’s guns was even silencing the sound of the blasts outside, in moments Yspoch’s house was turned into a disaster area.
Bullets where flying everywhere, and blasted countless holes in the walls, the Defiler screamed in pain as it was hit in the back.
Its first instinct was like any other Zerg to attack, to infect those that had hurt it but then some of its human intelligence override its basic instincts.
It would not survive if it attacked these creatures and then it would have failed the task it had been given.
In its conflicted mind a decision was finally made and with great speed it breached through the colony house reinforced window.
“After it!”
“Fu***** aliens!”
The Combat suited men went after the creature but with no success, it had escaped in the night.

Re: StarCraft: Shadow of the Xel'Naga - Game Thread
Now that makes absolutely no sense. How exactly does voting for you make me guilty and what exactly am I guilty of? I had pointed at you purely to get things started but now I'm beginning to suspect that you may indeed be either zerg or protoss.
The fact that Saint Nil is willing to change points so quickly makes me think that he and ED are most likely on the same side too.

Re: StarCraft: Shadow of the Xel'Naga - Game Thread
You know I pointed at you because you admitted it and not as a revenge point.
I also had another reason but I was saving it. Before the first day I made my suspicions of you known. Then after you saw that you voted for me.
Why did you vote for me? Was it to try and say my point is little more than because you voted for me?
I'm sure your guilty and Zar Peter defended you.

Re: StarCraft: Shadow of the Xel'Naga - Game Thread
I admitted been a zerg/protoss before Shadowcaller changed the roles again due to the unfortunate error.
Why would I not vote for you when you made it clear that you want me dead and refuse to see that what role I had before and what role I may have now can be entirely different?

Re: StarCraft: Shadow of the Xel'Naga - Game Thread
Where exactly I have claimed your point is a revenge point? So far all you've done is make false accusations based on evidence that doesn't exist. I think that you're the one that needs to do the explaining here, not me.

"How exactly does voting for you make me guilty"
Seems like you're saying I only voted you because you voted me. Or at least that's what it looks like to me.

Re: StarCraft: Shadow of the Xel'Naga - Game Thread
And how exactly is that considered accusing you of a revenge point?
All I'm saying is that you're voting for me based on ill conceived logic rather than any evidence of my apparent guilt thus my conclusion that you're convinced of my guilt because I voted for you.

Trust on FC and Demonking to argue endlessly about what conclusions to draw from a single point and whether it means anything or not.
One tiny remark before I'll leave you back to your own private discussion:

It seems likely that SC cut his efforts short at that point and rerandomized all roles. Everyone who hadn't received his role up until that point probably never got a role until the second batch of role PM's was sent out. Hence a lower number of received role PM's for some people.

Protecting someone? If so, then odds of him being a wolf are relatively high. Today is more of the same, when he consecutively joined the Fin and FC bandwagons in surprisingly short order. Granted, it's early in the game and we've all got little information, but I find it curious why one would jump ship this often after not even a full two days have passed.Last edited by Freshmeat; 2008-05-07 at 11:44 AM.

Re: StarCraft: Shadow of the Xel'Naga - Game Thread
((Well it seems like its time for a "word of god" here.
Some players got three roles others only got two roles since the first time I sended out roles I noticed that I had done a misstake before I send out the zerg, seers and protoss roles.
Thus those player that had villager or marine roles when the first roles was send out got three roles and those that would have been zergs ,protoss or seers when the first roles was send out only got two roles.))

Re: StarCraft: Shadow of the Xel'Naga - Game Thread
I'm at least referring to the number of different roles you've got not how many PMs you got.
Plus, Fleeing coward admitted it on the second page as well. You should remember in Alchemist 2, fleeing coward said he was a bad guy and he was a bad guy.

Why I keep joining bandwagons? Easy-I HAVE NO IDEA WHO TO POINT AT!!
My logic is that if someone has a reason to point at someone, it makes more sense than me just random pointing.Avatar by Logalmier

Re: StarCraft: Shadow of the Xel'Naga - Game Thread
I'm too tired to read all of that, I just respond on this
I'm not sure if Fleeing Coward is guilty, I defended him because your accusations are based on absolutely nothing. He committed he got two bad roles because of a narrator fault. That doesn't say anything about his role now.
I don't know whom to point at but since Emperor Demonking insisted on the same nothing as yesterday I point at him.Avatar by the great Lord Herman. Many, many thanks!
