(OOC) Sorry to make you write all that, I thought maybe 5 or 6.
"Bok, have you seen anything interesting?" Still waiting for the others to arrive, Alexis walks back west along the wall and circles around, touching the west wall, and begins searching the north wall and floor for traps. He also stops at a couple of random spheres (scarlet, white, gold and yellow) and examines them a little more closely, looking for anything interesting or odd about them. He tries touching them gently, and then, if nothing happens, seeing if he can crack them with his dagger. He carefully avoids any green or greenish spheres, remembering the puzzle from the entranceway.

(OOC) I think MOD said he would be away for a while (post #131), can we assume Winnet follows us? Not sure what KCiemir (Makrish) is up to, but he hasn't posted since before MOD's last post. Maybe Winnet pushes Makrish through and joins us?

Winnet and Makrish have entered the small corridor with the gargoyle statue.

OOC: Makrish is following Jayln and will stay within twenty feet of him until Makrish's player returns. I have PM'd him and if he doesn't respond soon, you are free to use his character as a trap-finding device i.e. ten-foot-pole.

You are in a 10 wide and 20 foot long unlit chamber. It is small and feels cramped.

A broken, 8-foot-tall statue of a four-armed gargoyle squats here, alone and in the dark. Its three remaining hands appear as if in positions of supplication, or need.

There is a narrow passage leading out of this chamber just past the statue.

The gold sphere appears to be concealing a tunnel of some sort. It's wide enough to crawl through, but Alexis doesn't know where he'll end up if he enters it.

Bok wanders over to Alexis and asks "Whatcha lookin at?"

(OOC) To be honest, I would be less concerned if he wasn't the party healer.

Alexis

Here Bok, I've found a secret passage! Everyone, check the other non-green spheres to see if there are any other routes! Stay close to the walls, I haven't checked the middle for traps." Alexis proceeds to check a couple of the other spheres in the immediate vicinity of the gold one, avoiding any greens.

OOC: I guess you can always use him as a healing vending machine if you really need it. I though that you had wands. Anyway, which spheres do you search?

Alexis will seach the following, first for traps, and then to see if there is actally a sphere there or not:
ORANGE sphere held waist high by a mummy.
PURPLE sphere held at feet by a minotaur.
BRONZE sphere held waist high by a nymph.
PALE BLUE sphere held at shoulder by a werewolf.
SILVER sphere held at feet by a four-armed gargoyle.
PINK sphere held high above head by a yuan-ti.
Others can search the rest, this will take Alexis a decent amount of time.

What's the who now about the orb whatchamacalies?

Irazeg says loudly.

"Some of the orbs are just illusions. Check all of them except the green ones." Alexis explains to Irazeg as he pokes his dagger at the orange sphere. "If someone is feeling adventurous, they can crawl in and check out the passageway behind the gold sphere."

It appears the orange and bronze spheres have a sort of door behind them. It also appears those doors are trapped.

The silver sphere also has a door attached to it. It has a keyhole, but it doesn't budge.

The other spheres are simply paint.

"Wow, we have a lot of choices!" Alexis turns to the orange door, and tries to remove the trap from it. He then peeks inside. He walks over to the bronze sphere, does the same, and then goes to the locked door, takes out his thieves kit, and attempts to pick it.

Alexis makes a mistake trying to disable the trap behind the orange sphere and it stays armed. The trap behind the bronze sphere is completely destroyed.

Alexis tries hard to pick the lock, but it just won't open for him.

I believe Makrish has an everburning torch. Irazeg grabs it, and throws it into the afforementioned passageway. ((OOC: 4e, w00t))

Irazeg lit up a narrow tunnel. He sees...more tunnel.

Irazeg wriggles in without hesitation, grabs the torch, and begins crawling on the ceiling.

Izareg goes into the tunnel. It slopes downward and he has to make a right turn 25 feet in. He stops and sees that he'll have to make another left turn after moving 20 feet.

Irazeg continues on, and continues until he sees something obviously dangerous. When he suspects a trap, he stops.

OOC: Dammit. I'm not going to cover this up, I screwed up part of the description. I looked at the wrong part of the map and a part of the module's map is labeled incorrectly. Ignore the gold sphere. For things to make sense, the gold sphere shouldn't exist. Izareg is instead standing in the middle of the corridor, waiting to do something.

Irazeg blinks twice, as if having a moment of deja vu. He then walks up to wherever Alexis is and asks what he wants done.

Alexis

Alexis commisions Irazeg to help him investigate the remaining spheres. He takes one side of the room (North) and Irazeg takes the other. Alexis proceeds, poking each non-green sphere with his dagger, and peeking into any non-real spheres. While he walks, he calls to Bok "Bok, do you think you can break down the door behind the silver sphere? Take a look at it." Turning to everyone else, he asks, "Can someone else investigate the mist filled arch? See if we can get this one's mist to go away too."

Alexis is indeed aware that he failed to undo one of the traps.

The following spheres appear to be illusions: Orange, Bronze, Bright Blue, Silver, Black.

Of those spheres, the following appear to have something behind them, like a door of some kind: Orange, Bronze, and Silver.

You do not inspect the Green or Pale Green spheres.
