Gelydus' sleeve shifts a bit, and a small white head pops out, belonging to his Snow Weasel, who glances around rapidly. Gelydus can feel the comforting frost begin to well in his fingertips.

He gestures to the high ranking military officer, who stands.

He pauses, as if waiting for something.

Hanmark stands up at his seat, beer in one hand and axe in the other, hoping for an inncocent toast and half-expecting trouble.

Marlamin raises his mug to, with his usual ear to ear smile, while breathing in everything he sees, hears about the hooded figure.

Everything, even the slightest hint of a weapon or spell component would ruin his disguise. Or is it really what it seems now? A friendly joke of some sort?

While everyone turns to the hooded figure Marlamin slowly puts down his mug, and tries to hide from sight without anyone noticing, hoping he could get closer to the hooded figure.

As the man stands on the table, Gelydus slighty raises to his feet, he can feel it coming. The moment the dagger is produced, Gelydus stands abruptly, sending his hood off of his face and his long white braid up into the air, as he yells some Draconic words and extends his hand. A small blue sphere of ice flies through the Inn, directed at the criminal.

Zilo acted fast, he whipped off his hood so he could aim better, revealing his messy flame-orange hair and jumped on the table, drew out his crossbow and fired off a shot at the hooded man

The orb of cold connect with The hooded man as soon as his blade hit the General's Jugular. He winces and stumble forward, thearrow strikes him in the back and he collapses.

Zilo hopped down and walked over to the hooded figure "I think hes dead" he retrieved his arrow and put it back in his quiver. "anyways, I think this will go back over my head" he pulled his hood back over his face, obscuring it from view again "as I don't want to recognized" he then walked back over to where he had been sitting, and sat.

Wellby springs immediately to the fallen General's side and checks to see if he's still alive or if anything can be done to save him. He then immediately checks on the assassin, looking for anything that could identify him.

The man only has his clothes, and a key. Both men are dead.

Gelydus walks over to the man he helped kill. The fire plays oddly on his almost completely white, pale skin. He speaks to the other guards.

I am sorry. I suspected an assassin, I should have acted sooner. And I need to harness my powers better!

Is there a reason besides this man's rank that he would be marked for death? What was it he said before he attacked?

Wellby pockets the key, and joins in the conversation with Gelyus and the others.

This was unexpected...in a way.
Marlmain rests his muscles and pulls his hand aways from the rapier's hilt. Breaking into a smile he casually wanders around the scene, trying to catch what the soldiers are talking about.

"heh, NOW the musician notices what has taken place," Zilo muttered to himself he then shouted in a sarcastic tone, imitating the dwarf's voice and accent "nice senses ya idjit! ya don't miss a thing!" so that it sounded as if Hanmark said it.

I forget if humans are Arcana, Religion, or Nature, but i have same ranks in each of those 3

(1d20+6)[13](19) (Knowledge DC = to his HD if successful, and he dies within a minute, he makes a Will Save DC 13 to negate the Capture) If i get him through my nightmare ability, he only has racial HD, no classes - would he be "the same person", as in could I question him about his motivations, etc?
