FF tactics Lancer and yellow Chocobo, nice choice Fayt. I was actually gonna use a lancer myself, but I decided the sprite sheet didn't have enough poses. *shrugs*

Hey Q, if you want to help a fellow artist and (yes im admitting this) an absolutely rubbish spriter. could you get hold of the sprites everyone else seems to use? its hard having to do it on Paint

after a violent fight with fireworks I am returning to inkscape. though i may use fireworks from time to time. I dont regret it too much especially cause I was able to make templates for two characters in ten minutes.

What? I don't make my own sprites! I get them from the internet!

I just put the name of the character, plus "Sprite sheet" in google images, and WHAMO! You get your sprite sheets!

But Nameless amkes his own sprite, but he also posted it around here somewhere. I'm sure you can find it if you look hard enough.

Oh, I know. That's not what I meant. Archiving FFF is a complicated process, what with all its loose threads. Having a bunch of comics that I don't archive means I'm more likely to get careless and skip a comic. If PW keeps going this quickly, it's also going to spread the FFF comics over more pages, which makes it that much harder to put them in the necessary order.

Not much, but Mechafox wants us to create a sepparate thread for pixel wars/sprite wars. I think he might be right. It is different, and we really don't want to annoy Mechafox... Much.

I'd say... no. Pixel wars deserves to be in the ABR thread. It fits the original spirit of ABR. If anything, FFF should have its own thread.

No, but I don't really see why Pixel Wars should be considered any less deserving of being in ABR than FFF.

The introductory post of ABR reads:

This idea comes from another forum, which also has a very consistent style of avatars. First of all the purpose of this treat is fun, and perhaps a bit to keep your skills in shape. Now what do you do? The idea is simple, you draw a short comic about you fighting some person above. You do what? For instance person X has drawn himself boasting to be the best fighter and ready to take on anybody. I would then for instance draw my avatar saying “one over confident fighter, one mwha ha ha” and the fighter getting hit by lightning.* somebody else could then dray his avatar attacking my avatar. You don’t have to attack the first person above you, this is because often one on one battles evolve and you don’t want to get in between, just issue a general challenge and the fight will come to you. Most of the time it would be nice to draw in oots style, since, well, this is the oots board. But some frames with chiby style puppy eyes, manga syle exclamations. Or just a really cool drawing of the battle but not oots style is all fair game, just try to keep the mainstream oots.

The complete randomness and killing of Pixel Wars fits ABR.

Tis an interesting problem, since pixel wars could be seen as nothing more then a new plot, and those have generally always gone in the normal Abr thread.
However I can see a problem arising when theres 10 new pages to filter through for Fff comics to add to the archive. Mostly due to the easy nature of creating sprite comics. Being able to make comics so quickly will also huuuugely reduce the life span of your average Abr thread.

Making a new thread for sprite comics and sticking with the discussion thread seems to be a good idea. Now it just has to be seen as to who's going to make it.
