I'll vote in favour of the thread split for 3F et al and Sprite Wars. I'm not objeecting to keeping the same discussion thread, but that could be a little confusing at points.

Actually, most of what is done with inkscape is copy/pasting and manipulating, and some sprites (some of The Randomizer's, a few of mine and, I think, most of Nameless's)

@Rand: I can't respond to that in comic form right now, but I can say that Cress and PM's pokemon trainer are already antagonists in Sprite Wars. Maybe Cress and the pokemon trainer work with/for Ridley, maybe they're totally unconnected, but I don't think we should restart the plot.

Woo, after hours of re working almost every template I had I've manged to create a library of sorts. Tis gonna save me a hell of a lot of time in making comics since I would almost always have to redraw every panel.

I'm not even halfway done yet, still gotta create and add in templates for like 7-8 other people, add in a section for hair, then armor, then templates and frames for animals, monsters etc. but meh.. I'll do that later. >.<

Current dilemma: I can't find a suitable character for Diskord so I made one... Problem is, it's ugly. I mean... REALLY ugly...

Last extra inserted/modified: I've made a few mini-quests.

Mega, try restarting. It generally fixes most errors like that. Alternatively, leave it alone for a while, like an hour.

But it is originally drawn by you, correct? I havent said anything about sprites drawn by the ABR-er, I said only that it is uncool to just take some from a site and copy paste it in a comic.

Hey guys, its been a while but college, a failed attempt at a webcomic, starting to prepare a webcomic, getting into warhammer 40k and loads other projects have been kinda sucking up my time.

As a neutral observer, most sprite-based webcomics are not well met, even less so than the usual difficulty webcomics faced. In fact, it is known that sprite-based webcomic authors often find themselves lock in by the limitation of using sprites.

I mean, pretty much only 8-bit theatre got anywhere using sprites.

Granted, its not that hard. But there are instances of excellence with sprite comics, at least that I have seen.
Besides, I think it's safe to say that at least most of the people here who are using the sprites can draw other art styles.

Bayar, just stop trolling. I can and do make "good" artwork. My fights with Omega were largely responsible for the Sprite Wars starting in the first place. Also, I've already said that I make some of my own sprites, and I have made some modified versions of the sprites I'm using for the sprite wars. Your argument holds no water and I want you to stop before one of us says something we're going to be moderated for.

It's a little project I've been working on with RPG Maker XP. I can't say much about it yet though. It follows the FFF plot (without the side plots of course). And if I have time I will make a version where you play with Threeshades' team instead.

Right now I'm still looking for a graphic for Threeshades' second shade. I've been trying to find one this whole time.

Regarding the thread schism, I definitely did not intend for either plot to be "kicked out" of ABR. Both fit the spirit of ABR fine. My reasons for requesting a separate thread were as stated: if Pixel Wars continues updating at such a quick pace, it's going to be increasingly difficult to archive FFF. PW has the potential to move very, very quickly. I don't harbor any sort of grudge against sprite comics. The only thing keeping me from joining PW myself is the fact that I don't believe I'd be able to keep up.
